you are a great teacher!!! I have subscribed and I want to start making this collar soon. I think I will use wool. is that ok? I have a question: if I use wool is it the same number of chain at the beginning? 86?
Thank you so much for your nice comment dear. Regarding wool, actually the chains May change according to the thickness of the yarn. I think it is better to measure it around your own neck size.
@@ravelladesign4623 Yes I watched video and you mention 86 +4 and to measure neck if you want to make it bigger or smaller but I need to know the stitch multiple for making it bigger or smaller so the stitch count is correct to your pattern?
@@craftitkiwi Dear, you can make it both bigger or smaller, no matter! Make the same pattern. Just be cafefull, if it gets ruffless, the make the multiples less than I mentioned. İf it gets stretchened, then make the multiples stitches less than I made. That's all.
Thank you so much for your nice comment. Firstly, it is 50 Gr yarn. %50 cotton, %50 acrilic. İt is also written, 50gr-1.70oz, 140 mt-150 yarda, 2 nm. These are all which are written on the label of the yarn dear. Hope it helps you.
Dear Yukipo, I kindly advise you to make what I showed at my video. If you have I DC left at the end, then skip 1 chain before the last one and prevent the last one to be left over.
Dear Christiana, first of all, I advice you to try with small hook according to your yarn. For example, it it is written 3,5 mm hook on the label of your yarn, I advice you to try 3 mm. And secondly, if it still goes on being curling, do not worry. Look at your work. See from which row it starts to curling. For example, if your work starts to curl, at the 3rd row, watch my video and see ; after how many blocks with 3 double crochet, I make the block with 4 double crochet. I watched the video for you. If your work curls at 3rd raw, then go on 9 blocks with 3 double crochets and then, make the block with 4 double crochets.
By this way, you can make more blocks with 3 double crochets and make the blocks with 4 or 5 double crochets less then I explain in the video. This curling happening because, everybody's yarn structure is differen than the others.
If your work starts curling at the upper rows, for example if my video says "make 3 blocks with 3 double crochets and then make 1 block with 4 double crochets and go on like this.." Then you should make it according to your work as 5 or 6 blocks with 3 double crochets and then 1 block with 4 double crochets. You will make less blocks with 4 double crochets. I mean you will make less increasing.
Hope I could explain clearly. Make the blocks with 4 or 5 double crochets less than I explain in the video. If you do this, you can prevent curling. The method is like this. And at the end, if it still curls just a bit, do not worry, you can make it disappear by doing steam ironing after you finish your work. Do not press the iron on your work. Just bloww off steam from your iron on your work. And then, make it neatly with your hands. That's all dear friend. Hope you can make neatly at last. Have a nice day.
Did you try to make less increasing? I mean make the blocks with 4 double crochet or 5 double crochets less that I made. If I make at my video, 3 blocks with 3 double crochets and then 1blick with 4 double crochets, then make 6 blocks with 3 double crochets and then make the increasing with 4 double crochets for example. You will make this according to the level of curlings. I do not know how much your work curls. But the only way to correct this is to make less increasing and make more blocks with 3 double crochets. Hope I explained clearly.
I haven't checked the size. But it is 50 Gr standard cotton yarn that we use for amigrumi, summer garment project ör for many. İt is not a special yarn. 50 Gr cotton yarn ball

How do I calculate if I wanna make the collar bigger?
Make the chains according to your neck and make the other rows as I explained in the video.
Hello.
I am Japanese.
It's so cute, I want to make this for my daughter.
How much should I reduce cast on?
Thank you so much dear. I am from İstanbul. Hello to you from İstanbul to Japan.❤️❤️❤️
@@ravelladesign4623 Thank you for your reply. I would like to know how to knit for children.
@@kirkir3261Hi, I made mine in XS size, I started with 62+4 chains on the first row, and it worked well:)
@yammiescommon5704 Very niiiceee! I am sooo happy I helped you.😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️🌹🌹
If 86chains is too long, what other number of chains would be okay? Does it just have to be an even number of chains?
Make the chains, according to your Neck size. Wrap the chains around your Neck and decide about the number of chains like this.
I made DC like 86.84.82...4.2 but I have the last one left over, am I wrong?😢
Dear Yukipo, I kindly advise you to make what I showed at my video. If you have I DC left at the end, then skip 1 chain before the last one and prevent the last one to be left over.
