That bit which sounds kind of like auto-tune is something I have encountered in person before from people I knew from Indonesia and the Phillipines in general. It's like an accent on certain sounds and phonemes. Listen to how he sings, "I look for love in". You hear a small bit of that, but he has very good control of the glottals. I'm not actually familiar with the languages of Indonesia and the Phillipines, but if they are as heavily tonal as many in that part of the world, then it would explain the "snippets" that sound almost autotune.
One interesting note: when I attended language training at the US Defense Language Institute, we were told that English is the most difficult language to learn as a second language. So, I always give massive props to anyone who does so. Because even if it isn't true...I grew up with English and it is clown shoes on glitter meth.

Chaka just blew the top off the roof in the stadium with a hurricane force 7 wind. He doesn’t auto tune just natural born talent with an impressive vocal range.
I don't have much knowledge about the autotune stuff, but maybe you want to check his cover for "I'll never love again" or "take me to church".

I think this time you doubt to give honnest reaction. Why, because about several months a go you just reacted Chris Stapleton sing this song. And at that time you were very amazed with him. So when you find somebody else sing this song as good as Chris Stapleton or even better, you doubt to acknowledge that. But other Reactors not doubt at all to say that Cakra cover sing this song as good as Chris. For more fair we had better say that Chris sings best in Country genre, while Cakra is best in blues genre.

What most do not get with auto tune is...
Everyone use it in recordings today..
And it does not make a bad singer good. You have to be able to sing, have a good voice and technique for auto tune to do what it does.
And all those singers where auto tune helps can sing fine without it, its just like adding salt to a good dish. - again with the core thing that auto tune does nothing for a bad singer. it can not correct everything you do wrong or bad pitch.
So people who can do a live performance perfectly without any tune or effects, will 99% of the time still use it on recordings and so on.
If this person use Auto tune I can not say, I did not listen to it with headphones or anything. so its just an overall take.
This Man (Cakra Khan) often did a Raw singing video on RUclips, you may check : Cakra Khan - Iris (cover)....he did it without microphone...., And many more covers from him, he did it raw....

I guess u're right about the wobble thingy... With his voice type, it's very possible to have a split second nuisance from his own spittle or sputum (off note). That's explaining everyone's laugh right after. Maybe they editted that video just to smoothened that specific moment, that's why it's sounds wobble.

At first I thought he was going to be a one trick pony, with the rasp being his go-to. Let’s be honest, it happens often with those that “mimic” a sound. BUT…he has range, he can riff, run, spin hop jump and skate up and down the key as he pleases…definitely talented and skilled. Of course, English isn’t his first language, so there were certain opportunities he missed, (like sounding desperate when annunciating the word “strung” with expressing an addiction). This is something very talented English speaking singers miss as well. He’ll be fine though…definitely superstar quality
