    Bottom shock bolt is 59 ft pound torque
    Top is 15 ft pound

      Yep, and if anybody else is wondering for their rear shocks both top and bottoms are 70 ft lb.

    Just did ball joints, tie rods,pitman arm,idler arm,sway bar links,shocks on my 03 cat eye about to sand it down and put some paint on it and roll on!!

      no the shocks are still mounted in the same spots, the only difference would be the type of shocks needed that work with the lift you have

      i do still have the chevy and it still runs well but all the road salt has finally made its mark on the body its rotted out pretty bad now

    Are u supposed to tighten the top nut all the away while it's off the ground.... and then tighten it when you lower it?

      You do it in the air where you do need to do that is with things like control arms toe links etc. Etc. Because of stickten basically the binding of a bushing when tightened in the air when lower it will twist the pushing causing to wear prematurely. So like I said you could probably get away just fine tighting them in the air but if you feel the need too at most you would need to tighten bottom bolt not top though

    Why were the tires all worn out like that cuz of the shocks ? Or does it need alignment ??

      Because he was too cheap to replace the ball joints. Now it's costing him between $500 and 1,000 to replace just the front tires. Like napa's old slogan used to be "spend a little now, or a lot later". Guess he wasn't paying attention.

      My truck was very bouncy and tippy while cornering. Once I installed these new ones it made a huge difference

      No lift just oem suspension. I turned the keys up slightly. Still have lots of thread before max

    What shocks are those? They look like Monroe I was looking for some affordable ones and I seen some like those at o Reilly’s . I replaces my whole front end but trucks very bouncy and stiff

      When the vehicle is just sitting there you can usually push down on the hood and it'll be bouncy.
      Should be pretty stiff. When you hit a bump the vehicle bounces and not the shock.

      He said he didnt have the right size socket for it. Impacts have special sockets... though he probably could have gotten away with using the one he had.

    My upper bushing and washer are loose when i lowered the truck onto the ground. Is this normal, i didnt pay attention how they were before i changed them

      You are no suppose to tighten the top nut all the way until you lower your truck . Once it is at ride height tighten your top nut. A month too late lol 😂 but hopefully you figured that out already.
