WOW Thank you so much Ken and Meghan for this adventure mall tour. The biggest mall of the world or not (anymore) does not matter. It was wonderful walking with you, enjoyed it very very much. Take care and stay safe.
Our pleasure!
Hello Ken! Great tour around the West Edmonton shopping mall. Looks similar to Scarborough Town shopping centre if not mistaken. Hope you’re having a great vacation! Take care Ken & Meghan and stay safe😎👍.
Hello, and thanks, Sepand!
I remember getting lost at Galaxyland when my family visited West Edmonton Mall when I was a kid. Had to go to customer service and they made an announcement over the PA for an adult to come pick me up.
Hi Ken, great looking mall, thanks for the walk.
Wow this mall is huge , some parts are like Disney world with all the rides , so glad you two are enjoying yourself 😊
Hey Ken and Meghan, A amazing guided tour of the West Edmonton Mall. That's is one humongous mall.
I'm with you and that is malls in general are not my thing. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it, Allan!
Drop of doom had elevator cars it was taken out ..that red roller coaster gone too....ripped out ..along with my heart
Wow what an awesome video Ken with you and Meghan!! This is such an interesting and fun tour of the West Edmonton Mall! It's been a very long time since I was at the mall. Throughout my life, since I was really young, I have visited Calgary, Drumheller, Edmonton, Red Deer and Smoky Lake a lot! If you had been going for longer to Edmonton I would have suggested a cool but much smaller place like Drumheller! To see the neat hoo doos that are naturally formed and the awesome museum might have been something fun to enjoy! It makes sense there are bigger malls now but West Edmonton still looks really big in size! It's cool to know it is still the largest mall in Canada. I enjoyed being able to see what's there and think back to just how much there is to do and that you can basically forget that you are in a mall. I would think the mall is great for AB tourism? Do you think so Ken? It seems like a place that would be a real attraction for tourists to want to visit and maybe even more so in the summer. I smiled when you mentioned that you and Meghan made a few transit mistakes! Hey I would too, believe me! I haven't been on Edmonton transit in so long. Well let's see, I guess the last time was when my oldest aunt passed away, and that would have been 2015, during the summer. I had just arrived to see her just before she passed away and I was able to take the light rapid transit system that has a stop right near the hospital she was in, and it took my niece and me all the way over to my aunt's apartment which was in the Downtown section of Edmonton. It was super convenient and seemed like a pretty good transit system but I had to really check things out to make sure we were on the right route! It seemed a bit confusing but it's not home. But I'd be lost getting around. You two did great! I hope you are both having a great time while still in BC and I hope the brief time away on Galiano was really lovely! I'm sure you got some awesome videos made Ken and I sure look forward to seeing them!! Thanks so much for the fabulous tour of the mall. You really do your research and that's so cool!! Cheers!! 🙂
I'm pretty sure the mall is the biggest tourist attraction in Edmonton and probably only surpassed by The Calgary Stampede and the Rock Mountains in Alberta as a whole. hah
@@TheKenContinuum I do love the Rocky Mountains and I have never been to the Stampede but as a child I went to K Days in Edmonton - their exhibition with rides and games! I am certain that my mom ruined any chance of loving malls!! Lol!! As a young child I remember every weekend going clothes shopping all day with her and an aunt and did I ever get bored!! 🙂Now I'm definitely not a fan of malls but the West Edmonton Mall is pretty exceptional!
@@TheKenContinuum I would say that it is surpassed by the Rocky Mountains. The mall is open 365 days a year, I would say that it attracts more tourists than the Stampede that happens only 10 days a year. The Rocky Mountains are the main attractions in Alberta
Ken when you said a full size skating rink in the PARK , I just went along with it . Because all of the Ice skating rinks I know of in New York City that I have been to are located in parks except Abe Stark Sports Center out by Coney Island and the Rockefeller Center Rink. I also remember Sky Rink when it was located at 450 West 33d Street at 10th Avenue on the 16th floor before they moved to Chelsea Piers. ⛸⛸⛸⛸⛸⛸.
But that is one wonderful mall. Thank you for a Great tour. 👍👍👍👍👍👍. I learn alot from your walks as well as Johnny's. I thought that Boston Pizza was from Boston. I didn't know it started in Edmonton.
haha Whoops. You bet, glad you enjoyed the tour!
I'm not surprised they changed it, "Drop Of Doom" is just scary. Anyway, cool mall. Enjoyed the video!👍
I remember seeing when West Edmonton Mall was completed, on the news, in the early 1980s. It's a sister mall to the Mall Of America, in Minnesota. I've also seen old ariel photos of this area from the early 1970s. Quite the contrast. The Lego Store in West Edmonton Mall is quite impressive. I've seen the inside of it. Thanks for sharing this. I'm glad you were able to come to Edmonton. Cheers! ✌️🇨🇦
My pleasure. Cheers!
Shop till u drop lol 😂 Honestly a great place to get your steps in during the winter!
haha For sure.
Helloo goodnight Ken Continuum...wassup bro@ truly hoped your jolly refreshing workweek shaping up quite calmly and I'm for sure awaiting the last long weeknd of summer lol. Hearty tanks to you@ Meghan for taking us around the largest shopping centre on this 1 of your throwback vids...in the world still to me in my book, and that ice rink and deep sea water looks good with those raft boats. cheers buddy
Hey hey, it was a fun trip out West. Thanks again, Franklyn!
Hi Ken, Awesome live walk today at the West Edmonton Mall. I enjoyed it can't wait to see more tomorrow. How is your weekend? I hope you had a great weekend. My weekend is going well. Have a great day it's great to see your friend Meghan she looks great. See you next video 😀❤️
Thanks!
I Been There In 2007... *IT WAS HUGE*
Thanks for showing us the WEM Ken and Meghan! It reminds me a bit of Destiny USA, which is another huge mall in Syracuse, New York
You're welcome!
Very cool mall tour I see that West Edmonton Mall My hometown mall has changed a great deal since I was last there in 2009 Happy holidays🆒🆒🎄🎄🎅🎅🤶🤶❄❄
Thanks, you too!
Thanks Ken, that was cool 👌 keep them coming ☘️
Sure thing, and the support is much appreciated!
WOW Thank you so much for the video Ken I’ve always wanted to see a video from you of the West Edmonton Mall I’m from Ontario and the biggest mall close to Guelph is Square One or the Easton Center
I was there in August 😍
Great walk around the massive Edmonton Mall! Almost as great as the Toronto Argonauts win in today's Grey Cup! 🏈🇨🇦
Thanks very much, Steve!! Good job, Argos!
Thanks for the video!! I visited a couple days ago and it was very underwhelming. I was wondering I missed something. I mean granted I’m from Vegas, so I’m use to large malls with fancy decor, but yeah West Edmonton looks like just a typical mall.
It;s been a long time ago since I toured the mall and do remember the Submarines there,
Cool times you two are the best im happy for ya both enjoy from Estelle 😊
Thanks, Estelle!
great video you folks. West Edmonton Mall kinda looks like Limeridge Mall in Hamilton but much bigger .
Thanks!
man, hat'up. beautiful ~take care! =)
I was at the WEM the last time I was in Canada (June 2019).
OrangeJulius 🍊 🙂 I remember having as child...surprise still around 🧡 36:33
It's still good!
Out of curiosity did you make any transit video rides in Vancouver and Edmonton. To compare them to Toronto?
I did a couple transit rides, stay tuned.
@@TheKenContinuum ok awesome.
I'm going here next week. The last time I went, the WTC was still standing.
UPDATE: I’m won’t be going for another few weeks
Grateful that you're sharing all these awesome trips. I love moving around thru your eyes!
Quit coming to this channel already we all know you are a bot
Hi Ken and Meghan, thank you for the tour it was a lot of fun! I've never been to West Edmonton Mall but heard a lot of good things about it. Just wondering, how long did it took you guys to get there by transit? Also, are there mall maps that you can get and take with you? Meghan, I see you wore your fur coat, will it looks wonderful on you. Hope you guys are enjoying your vacation and making memories with your families. 👍👍
You're welcome, and it's about a half hour bus ride from Downtown Edmonton. We had a great visit!
Hello Ken & Meghan ......
Hello!
Did they have hotels in there? Back in the 90’s Toronto’s host Dini Petty did a show from there. They boasted theatres, hotels, water park, along with the sub marine and roller coaster. Has the uniqueness died away. It seemed quite dead.
Yes, there's a big hotel connected to the mall with themed rooms.

What a shame they destroyed bourbon street. Now it looks like the same crap you see in every other mall in Canada.
"Even a Non-Dingus, can turn into a Were-Dingus, and make mall approach goofs, when the Moon is Full"
haha She even had a fur coat like a Were-Dingus.
@@TheKenContinuum Being dropped at the wrong side of the mall can bring out the "beast" in anyone! LOL Well, or wearing one?
Great job bros keep it up. Say hi to Megan too.
Thanks, will do!
Duh I'm staring at the sign above the autograph area for the Oilers, not realizing WEM stands for the West Edmonton Mall, but the weird thing is, that logo also looks just like the old
WEM logo for the Watkins Electric Music co. that produced tons of high watt amplifiers and PAs for bands like Pink Floyd!! As seen in the movie Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii.
That co. is no longer in business, however.
haha Weird.
@@TheKenContinuum It looks very similar, as if someone copied it outright almost. Nutty!
