For those of you that own anything powered by the Oldsmobile 5.7 diesel V8, the sound of the starter motor is probably all you're going to hear if you treat the engine as bad as its track record suggests. That is, at least that's what will be happening if you don't wait for the glow plug warning light to go out before you whiz away on the starter motor.

He's using actual guitar effects on his voice. I can't tell if he turns them on himself via a stomp box on the floor or if he's got a soundman who knows his routine, but they're turned on at precisely the moment he needs them. He's still the best guitarist I know to this day who doesn't actually play a guitar. :P
@@49ers_red_and_gold2 it’s obvious to any guitarist that’s a distortion effect. Achieved by either making the sound clip by holding his mouth close to the mic, or by using a pedal. Either way it isn’t organic, but that’s still part of his talent: being able to use the mic like an instrument!
With the microphone he uses effect pedals to add reverb and distortion (look to his left foot, at 13:29, and how the sound changes). But, look, this is NOT a demerit.
