Oh! The way you formulated your question seemed to mean you didn't know what instrument it was in general. What you're asking for then is for concrete specifications on the very instrument Mr HDThomsen plays. Hope he replies, so you can acquire one, best of lucks!
i think the speed varies between each player, as we each have different reactions to it, however i am learning this piece and would too use the speed in the video
Lovely playing but horrible camera work. We want to see your hands not the middle of of the bow stick. And why does the camera zoom in on the face when the hand is doing something interesting, or zoom out to a distant shot when the most passionate shift in the piece occurs? The camera operator knows nothing about music or camera work. Lovely playing but visually very unsatisfying.
Très belle vidéo, et très belle interprétation ! Un régal pour les yeux et pour les oreilles...
My favourite piece of music, done so many, many ways, but this makes me cry

berceuse pour l'âme qui cherche son reflet dans l'eau. Mais l'eau est rarement limpide....

A cello
"ALWAYS & FOREVER" of course yes, I'm a cellist myself, but who's the maker?
