I don't know anything about bartending and alcohol but i was reading this manga called sleepy barmaid and it mentioned his name so i looked him up. glad to say bartending is way more interesting than i originally thought it was.
exactly, due to friction between ice cubes and glass the ice cubes are melting faster, but at the same time the glass is getting colder, that's why they're draining water made by that process
