Definitely a sign of mando straying away from his bounty hunter roots I think. It would be extremely impractical for that with no real storage for bounties, equipment or just general cargo, so this might be a sign of his new, self-focussed path, looking after grogu and learning how to wield the dark sabre. I found THE SOLUTION to all problems regarding star wars and the different opinions about stuff!!!
Every Movie etc. released after George Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney should be announced as legends ,except the ones where the majority and most important Parts of the original Star Wars (= Episode 1-6 and Clown Wars, rebels) stay uninfluenced like for example Rogue One or even the mandalorian If u want.
So the legacy of the origin of Star Wars is kept regardless of everything done or done wrong by more recent productions from Disney. In addition Disney can do whatever they want and nobody gives a shit, every Star Wars fan or even just normal consumers (if they know about the spliting of canon and legends/care enough) can decide how the beloved story of George Lucas goes on for themselves.
    Every group profits.
If disney is all about kindness, fun and love, like their forced and self established image, they should do what is right (they will still make money though without/with less controversials)
Like and share this comment if u think the same, so it gets more attention. (maybe it reaches important persons like our guy Star Wars theory or even Disney)
PS: Excuse the bad typing, spent 20 minutes typing this on my phone xd

I just came back from watching this episode and this ship was not only something I was happy to see, but also how, to what I believe, it represents how far Mando has come as a character. This type of ship was made for the royal guard of Naboo, a civilized Kingdom during the prequel era. The fact that Mando was offered this now rare ship that signified royalty and how he build it with whatever he had reminded me so much of how he was from the beginning of the Mandolarian. He was just a boy who had lost his parents from an attempted purge against the Mandolarians, then he was adopted and raised as a Mandolarian, then became a famous bounty hunter, loved an orphan child as his own, keeps learning new things about his culture, learns to respect others that are different from him, and defeated the enemy that caused the attempted genocide along with earning a sword that’s a symbol of leadership for his culture. My point is that just like how it took a while for the ship to be build with all the parts it needed to become something great, so did Din Djarin’s character arc of a nobody trying to help and bring honor to the people he only knows as family as well as learning to love those who are not is own. He started his journey as someone who came from nothing to someone who earned to become a future leader and maybe a father who never had one growing up. This ship signifies that he is now Mandalore’s hope to regain its civility and his new path of becoming it. As much as some people complain how it was a Mando episode in a Boba Fett show, I realized that the reason this is in it is because it shows the true reason why Boba fett hired Mando. Not just because he’s one of the best warriors, but also how he’s a man of deep respect. A trait that Boba learned to appreciate and practice from the Tusken Raiders to become a great leader.

I think it's really cool Din now has a Naboo Starfighter, but I feel bad for him because the Razorcrest was also essentially his apartment. Kind of like how it would be really cool to have a sports car, but you would still need a motor home to live in if you were in Mando's position; he can't get a shower, make himself a meal or get a good night's sleep in that expensive little ship lol. I guess the studio thought it would be cheaper to render in CGI than a razor crest, Stinger Mantis or Corellian Freighter, plus will save them money not having to build an interior set for it ect..I'm just thinking of poor old Mando lol.

The prequels get a lot of flack & criticism but certainly time has helped as many are begrudgingly giving them some love now. As a pretty big Star Wars fan (love it but I don’t drew up like Boba on my free time) I really enjoyed the prequels At the time of the Phantom Menace it was truly astounding that we learned George Lucas was doing the prequels & Anakin saga given that it seemed unlikely to happen & it had been decade an a half after Jedi.
I remember in grade school before the prequels were even made that kids rumored that Vader was disfigured & hurt by Obi-One in a lightsaber battle & fell into lava. Seeing to come to the screen was a dream come true. Lucas did an underrated job on the incredible story & backstory of the Galactic Republic’s fall, Palpatine’s rise & Anakin’s turn. Anyway, I know many die-hard Star Wars fans & many of the art & design field really appreciated how they made the Republic have a retro & older look to the Empire’s more futuristic looking designs & look & feel.
It’s pretty crazy how good the 70’s-80’s Star Wars look & design still holds up as cool looking & futuristic. Lucas was smart & maybe lucky having Ralph McQuarrie work on Star Wars. MacQuarrie really did amazing design work. Then years later in the 90’s they really captured a great design philosophy by creating a world that was related to Star Wars & familiar but older & different. It’s kind of like looking at modern stuff versus the 1950’s & 60’s.
The Naboo star fighter is a prime example. I forget what their design inspiration was? Maybe a 60’s Corvette? But you can see that it clearly looks older but related to later fighters like the X-Wings, A-wings & Y-Wings. Obviously everyone loves the Star Wars’ films & the stories but many also love the world they created. Look at how many older science fiction stuff looks campy, dated & cheesy now. Buck Rodgers for example. Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed the Mandalorian & now Book of Boba. They’ve done a lot of fan service but it has been good fan service done the right way. They’ve stayed true to the Star Wars Universe but also done a lot of deep dives & had some really cool references & such. Like the Tosche Station, for example. That was cut from a New Hope but used in the Book of Boba. Amazing.
