Tony Harnell went to the same high school I did in San Diego. I met at a show there. He was the nicest guy ever. Ronnie Le Tekro is one of the most underrated guitarist of all time. He's up ther with Adrian Vandenberg,Warren DiMartini,Jake E. Lee, Schenker,Akira Takasaki{Loudness).
Sincere my respect in your adress dears in TNT!!!! With my young and real time very very too!!! Thank-you very much for the your tollerant, friendship in studios, for super-fantastik musical-form on concerts too!! I`love you everybody!!!
tonny A VOICE IS BEAUTIFUL TNT ronny le tekro VERY GOOD GUITAR THIS IS MUSIC MY FAVORITE MUSIC que buena banda sus discos de lo mejor A MI PARECER EL MEJOR DISCO ES INTUITION 1989
Backgrounds and music is all pre-recorded, all thats live is Harnel's vocals. Check and watch the solo carefully, and tell em jsut where is the background guitar playing chords while he's wailing out the solo?
Great song from a truly great album. It's seems that all but lead singer is coming from the tape. So what, that's the way it's done today in many cases.
It's not their fault. The tv shows often considered that it was too "expensive" and too much "work" to put up a live preformance, that's why. And I agree with you, it sucks!
could be a homage to him, because they are also norwegians...there is another 80s song i know in which is a part of Grieg's "Hall of the Mountain King"
@Sistersmf Tell No Tales will feed your "Tony doing rock songs" cravings. But yeah, they sure got some cheesy songs, but they are still good as hell. Tony is surely one of the best vocalists from that era, along with mike from steelheart, michael sweet, jim gillette, kiske from helloween, bruce dickinson, geoff tate, dio and the list can go a bit longer, but u know, mind block.
No doubt, but don't forget GEORGE LYNCH AND VITO BRATTA, I felt Vito would be the next Eddie V. but it was not to be, you can hear the Halen style in Vito's playing though, and Goerge blew my mind "live" in 87/88, saw them 4 times, check out Mr. Scary! Rock on!
I love this song. Tony’s voice is so beautiful

If there's anyone who can sing ballads its Tony Harnell. And Harnell sings any kind of song, no problem.

The backing vocals are definitely pre-recorded because Tony is about 2 of the harmonies too. Which is fine. They are a phenomenal band!
He said to me last month in a live facebook that nobody in TnT was able to sing so the chorus were in playback 🤷♂️

Fantastic work from Björn Nessjö & Rune Nordahl.
Tony is a fantastic singer.

Oh, a part of that solo is like the melody on a Kamelot song called forever, hehe, just noticed it :P
That part is from Edvard Grieg's "Solveig's song" from Peer Gynt :)
ever heard of the norwegian guitarist mads eriksen? he has also recorded solveigs song.
I agree. He did pretty great though.
I wish my hair was like Tony's...
Same here
could be a homage to him, because they are also norwegians...there is another 80s song i know in which is a part of Grieg's "Hall of the Mountain King"
go ronnie go
In a game "Final Fantasy 2", same style of melody is used.
