dude people put real eotechs on airsoft rifles? and ngals? wtf? thats awesome. my rifle rifle is loaded with a sightmark red dot m spec that i loike more than the eotechs but i have an ngal potted somogear for my nvgs. works great!! man this looks fun. not sure why im surprised people put expensive things on airsoft rifles. i wish we had this stuff when i was in the army. we had pv7 nvg that my friend and i used to have to switch between mine and his when blackout driving bc his were terrible. they issued us some whack shit. also no red dots. they were just getting to my battalion and getting zeroed when i was leaving. people were pissed too bc it was hard to adjust from iron to a red dot. tmi. sorry. im bored af.
@eddiecanonge no worries, I always love hearing about people's gear! Everything on my gun besides the Magpul furniture is replicas though, including the sight. It works well enough for airsoft but I wouldn't put it on a real rifle by any means. As for the PEQ, it also works well enough! It has a white light though instead of an IR one, but the laser can be zeroed and it does have a working IR laser so not too bad for being a knockoff.
I've been going on Thursdays since that's FA's adults only night. Higher FPS limits and no minimum engagement distance. Also there's a gas blowback night once a month on Thursdays but I haven't been to one of these yet. Definitely my favorite day to play (and thankfully usually the only day I have available when they're open). Friday is kids only and Saturday/Sunday are open play for everyone, but there's lower FPS limits (not by too much) and a 10 foot minimum engagement distance which I prefer playing without.
@StootWorts Awesome thanks! I plan on doing something I've never done before haha cuz I'm from long island. Firday I'll be doing Ricochet tactical, Saturday I'm hitting up strikforce in Farmingdale and Sunday I plan on going to full auto arena lol.
@SpookyMatReacts ah, understandable. Either way, sounds like fun! As for grenades, I'm not too sure. I know grenades are allowed, but I've only seen gas grenades used so far (or rather heard them across the arena). I haven't seen the other kinds yet but I'd imagine they're also allowed.
Yep, I know! Like I said at the end, this was more for me to personally see what recording and editing airsoft footage would be like. Hoping future footage will be more interesting for sure
