Even then, you don't have to; you have the option to get incarcerated and have a criminal record. No one has to do anything unless there is duress, which means an outside threat. Language is so important, and I notice that weak, selfish, and manipulative people use obligatory guilt and superfluous language to manipulate their victim. Examples of superfluous language would be, "You ALWAYS," "I NEVER," etc. Basically the language used creates expectation where there really is none, like a parasitic friend telling you that you NEED TO lend them money for their rent. Like, no, if you're an adult, no one needs to do anything for you.
