- For anyone who wanted to see how easy/strong the manual log turner on the TK 1400 is...this one's for you. I did hours of research before I bought this mill and could never find anyone flipping a large hard wood log (what I normally see in the Cincinnati area).
This definitely shows how strong the turner and winch system are...but also highlights that they are slow. Painfully slow.
Enjoy and comment/like!!!

I just got my 1,400 in Nov. I drive my Range with a winch on the front on the opposite side and its quicker than all the unhooking.
Once dried, did those boards warp on you? I’ve tried to avoid curved logs because you can’t really cut parallel to the growth rings. I only have a couple years experience so I honestly don’t know, and would appreciate your input. Thanks
Thank you for this nice video. I like it because we have a good view of the TK1400 sawhead, from behind and it shows quite well how it is built. TK sawhead design is better than the competition because of their deep sawthroat, allowing to saw 16'' deep. one thing I don't get here is why you call it a manual log turner, your chain log turner doesn't look manual, it is hydraulic. Maybe you mean the manual log loader winch ? or the manual log dog ? But that is not a big question, good video anyway.
Usu a strap connection in two places and hook to the center
I don't understand how it's a "manual" log turner it looked mechanical to me.
I've never seen someone handle 76" of wood so deftly.
I agree, I'd like to see what he can do with 78". We want more!
Looks like a pain in the balls to me
Nothing about your log turner
You are moving the camera too much, jerky jerky
