I've got a 2018 Cerato and my brother owns a 2022 Cerato. Both amazing cars. One of the most populars for a reason, the car never failed me, not one hiccup. Sad to see it's name plate come to an end but we have a worthy successor in our hands it seems.

Agree how many more choices for SUV's do we need?

I drove the Cerato Hatchback in Australia for a road trip in 2018 and fell in love. Now I own a Kia Ceed 2021 in the UK and works perfectly. Have a special bonding with this model. Looking forward to the new K4 hatchback in Europe which I believe will still be named as Ceed! Hopefully there'll be a hybrid version.

Wonder why the detuned the GT. I have a 2013 build MY14 Cerato Koup with the 1.6 turbo and its been very good. Very reliable. Is the new version quicker?

I don’t know why wireless Apple/Android is included but not wireless charging? Without both then you have to plug your phone in anyway??

I've always been a super fan of Kia Front of the car is okay. The rest of it is really ugly. Go Kia. Thanks for making your cars hideously ugly. But anyway just my opinion, not that it matters

IMO the hatchback looks much better.

This is a really strange looking option in this segment ,not unlike the Hyundai i30 sedan…however I’d rather have the much safer looking Corolla or Mazda 3 sedan, and even MG5.
Until a hybrid is introduced, its sales will never match those of the top selling Corollas

Sorry but, Hyundai/Kia have completely lost the plot with new car releases to date. First the i30 Hatch & now this. Prices have jumped up into a different class.
We brought our 1st Cerato in 2016 & got it for a drive-away price of just under $19k. In 2021 we then upgraded it to a Cerato Sport+ for $31k drive-away. The price Kia wants for the equivalent K4 Sport+ ? $37,500 plus onroads. It's going to be $9000 more to put it on the road !!!!
This new K4 series has the same 2.0lt engine & gearbox. Remember when Kia was the cheaper cousin to Hyundai?? Now the base Kia K4 is more expensive than the base Hyundai i30 sedan. And they are the same damn car under their skin.
In 2020 my mate brought a brand-new Cerato GT. Paid just over $33k drive-away. This (so called replacement) GT-Line is going to pretty close to $45k drive-away. 😲
And they are building these in Mexico because it's cheaper??? Sounds more like a bigger profit margin.
The Kia Cerato were $20k drive-away for such a long time, but now you're looking at around $33k to get into the base model. A 65% increase in price
Yes, yes, yes, we all know prices have gone up with many things. But I don't recall at any time that a new model of a car has gone up the % that these have.
Discounting of course cars like Ferrari, Lambo or other Supercars.

No reviewer mentions the Speedo and tacho are in LHD format. Reviewers will mention other things you "get used to it" like indicators stalks on the wrong side........why don't they just allow in LHD vehicles at this point..... The Cerato was $20k in 2019. Now they want 60% more 5 years later.....PLASTIC steering wheel (except for GT), .same engine, same gearbox, same terrible urban fuel consumption and it's made in MEXICO!!! (Kias made in the Americas are the worst quality).....NO THANKS.
PS: You waste so much time talking about the back seats and water bottle storage.....who cares about back seat passengers (usually kids) or door storage!!!!!! (This is not an Uber vehicle)
