the customer service agent at the DFW lounge was super helpful when my flight got delayed a few weeks ago. She went above and beyond to help rebook me.
Most employees are either burned out or too interested in manipulsting their future to worry about AA flyers but the few rational ones still remaining are GREAT. A big thanks to them.
I was there from 6AM to about 3PM the whole time after flying in from Rapid City( mechanickly delayed from 6AM) , getting in at 1AM, burning 5 hrs. I was catching a plane to Amsterdam at 4ish PM I spent the whole ti.e grazing snacks chugging sparkling watter regular bottled watter juice and sodas. Breakfast was great Lunch was great! The quiet room was OK for taking a nap, but after my 5 yrs in the Army I can sleep anywhere. I took a shower changed cloths before leaving to my gate. Great food great drinks Great snacks great people. Best 150 BUCKSI ever spent !
Would have liked to see what food options were available besides BBQ that can give indigestion later. That price is for you and a guest? Assortment of beverages earlier looked good.
I enjoyed your video...! I've connected through DFW countless times and have used both the Admiral's Club and the Capitol One Lounges... Both are good, however the Capitol One lounge had more food item choices. Both also had showers which is an excellent perk right before an international flight, which I've used many times...Both shower options were exceptional....
The showers are mopped and cleaned after every shower, but I do use rubber flip-flops purchased at Dollar General...Love a fresh shower right before boarding an international flight...
The "omelet station" was a "taco station" that they were just setting up when I flew through DFW about a week ago. My time in the lounge was between 1200 and 1530 so that makes more sense than omelets would have at that time. I suspect they serve hot food based on the time of day that is customizable. (i.e. the tacos had a selection of toppings) I didn't try the flagship dining because I knew I'd get fed (again) on the flight and it was long enough that I didn't plan to spend the whole flight sleeping, but after seeing it in action I'm going to give it a shot next time. Edit to add: In the future I suggest you include the entire menu that you got to choose from rather than just what you decided to order. I found myself wondering what other options were offered, if they had vegan choices, etc.
Bad timing on your part. If planning to use a lounge, you probably need three hours between flights. Enjoy the travel experience and just let the destination arrive when it happens.
Hi can I ask, I’m flying business to dfw and then having a domestic business to my destination. Those who are doing that we can still use the flag ships lounges yes??
Thank you for making this video, very interesting. I use the Capital One lounge all the time but always wondered what its like on the other side :)
awesome video homie, please make some more of these. you did a great job on this one. loved the format
Thanks for a nice, honest and easy to watch review!

does the first dining not open before 12 PM?
You had flagship dining as part of your ticket and had to pay for the meal?
It is part of the ticket!
Do passengers flying in Flagship business between DFW and New Zealand get dining access? There's no First cabin on the plane unfortunately!
If your ticket is Flagship Business Plus dining is included. Otherwise you just get lounge access.
@@richmartin1427 cash upgrade from economic can access the lounge as well?

Do you pack shower shoes to use in the shower suites?

Do they provide towels or do you have to bring your own?
@@aro1879 Bring your own, as well as shampoo and soap, and a bucket to carry water into the stall.

I never have any delays to go to them
It’s always a 30 min In between.
I bought first class just for the lounges and leg room

Yes, you can get access if you arrive to Dallas internationally and transferring same day.
Can I access the lounge if I have business class coming from San antonio - Dallas (stopover) - Tulum (Tulum is the final destination)?
Yes, You get lounge access in business class departing to Mexico and Latin America.
AA charges an extra $200 usd to access first class dining on trips to South America on planes with no first class.
Looks good but the Capital One Lounge seems better.
I'm looking forward to reviewing that lounge as well!

I like everything except they really need an actual bartender making the drinks.
I believe as a passenger flying business class with Qatar Airways I have Admirals Clib access but I'm not 100% certain.
Yes! but not the first class dining section however.
@@usingyourmiles aah ok. Thanks for the heads up!
