I just did this on my car and can say it was the biggest pain in the ass of any project I’ve done so far. I had to mangle the trunk so bad to get this together. The exterior is fine aside from one oversized hole but the sides in the drain path all needed holes for install. We will see if it was worth it I guess.
@@jinendow yeah that’s what I’m talking about. I had to do holes on the side for finger access and still need to remove some material so the bolt heads sit flush. Do you have any leaking?
Excellent job documenting the process. I have a spare trunk lid for this project, but I'm hesitant to swap it due to the wiring. How difficult is the trunk lid swap?
it’s actually really easy. I think my video of the oem spoiler install might have more details on it but it’s essentially just 5 connectors you have to unplug and snake out of the trunk and plug them into your other one 👍🏽
They look like Apex Arc-8 wheels. 17 inch with the ET30 offset. Not sure on width though. I have the 17x9s on mine. I run a 245 width tire and they fit but with a strong fender roll. His might be an 8 or 8.5 inch width wheel with a 225 tire or something similar also
most likely not. most aftermarket spoilers are gonna have different mounting locations so it will depend on the one you got. but there’s a 99% likelihood that the holes won’t match up

are you referring to the underside of the trunk needing holes? if so mine did too

Actually after watching the end of the video again they might be 18s and not 17s, not sure. Depends on the aspect ratio of tire you want to run
