As a journalist I’m used to work with words, but I just can’t seem to find the right words to describe my admiration for the music of Xavier Rudd. It just leaves me both speech- and breathless. It’s pure magic.

At a crossroads in my life and came across this song yesterday. Work, family and friends stressing me out. Decided that most if not all hss to be cut out of my life. Spent last 13 years getting nowhere like ground hog day. Changes are needed as im now 41.
Sitting in the backyard all alone after various friends canceled our plans for the night that I was looking forward for several weeks. Smoking a cigarette and drinking some wine. With this song, feeling a little less sad. Glad to be alive ☺️

It has woken up so much from the depths of freedom inside me... There's a house like that in my family... Which is alive for me and dead and unnecessary for others. This house of Love and Wood has kept the space for so many children and their young parents not having anything yet. And the Grandma and Grandpa so so loving, understanding, soft and caring to each of them...us, family after family being created ❤ Fresh fruit from the gardens brought by those soft hands of grandparents... 💚 I always cry for this house being left and not taken care of and today I cried feeling how would it be to dance there like this... To be there alone for once, shake the dust of pain off of me there together with the dust of it and make a fire outside as well. To reawaken life in it... It's golden indeed 🧡 thanks... 🙏🏼

When I was gone for a year away from family and friends, (active duty) I would put on Xavier Rudd and Trevor Hall. Both of their music, have kept me calm and warm. In November my son and soon to be daughter in law will be getting married in the forest under the giant redwoods. I (momma) will be officiating the ceremony, what an honor! I felt this song. I hid away in Costa Rica with my own problems, during Covid. Covid slowed everything and let me heal in Costa Rica and nature fixed me. I hated returning to the fight I needed to do. But now it’s all done and everything is back to as it was. I enjoyed Covid, nature needed it.
This is my life atm, im in deep healing, living in a rainforest right next to the beach, doing everything emotionally/spirituslly to heal physically and deeper... i meditate n dance everyday like the true warrior of Love i am, i open my heart to the sky and feel the energy of god pour in and i use quite a few of Xaviers songs to tap into that healing, blissful eternal energy... im so blessed to have my heart crack wide open every single day and when it does, i feed it with dreams of returning home when im well enough, my purpose, seeing the ppl I Love and being the fullest man i can be... pain is hard, but if we use it as a guidence, it will open up so much Love and gifts that arent from this world. Dont forget the light that you are, you are a fragment of god and god is Love ❤

I discovered this song about two weeks ago. I listen to it about 20 times a day and I've almost gotten to the point that I can hear it without crying. I just really feel like it has touched my soul and opened a door in my heart. A door that hasn't been open since I was a tiny child. So much hurt there that I have spent a lifetime holding down. So much bad news flowing out of my body. As poor as I am I am poorer in thanks for what you have done. I would say blessings to you but it is you that has given me a truly blessed gift.

I hid away in Costa Rica with my own problems, during Covid. Covid slowed everything and let me heal in Costa Rica and nature fixed me. I hated returning to the fight I needed to do. But now it’s all done and everything is back to as it was. I enjoyed Covid, nature needed it.

This is my life atm, im in deep healing, living in a rainforest right next to the beach, doing everything emotionally/spirituslly to heal physically and deeper... i meditate n dance everyday like the true warrior of Love i am, i open my heart to the sky and feel the energy of god pour in and i use quite a few of Xaviers songs to tap into that healing, blissful eternal energy... im so blessed to have my heart crack wide open every single day and when it does, i feed it with dreams of returning home when im well enough, my purpose, seeing the ppl I Love and being the fullest man i can be... pain is hard, but if we use it as a guidence, it will open up so much Love and gifts that arent from this world.
