For anyone doing this install, trust the directions! You might think that it's a little risky to mark and drill the passenger side without first installing the inner plate since the plate slides over 4 bolts and would seemingly have low tolerances. However, it's absolutely the right way to do it. Optimize for the swing carrier being set perfect and if you need to elongate a hole, it's much better to do it on that interior support plate than on the body... Because I didn't fully trust the directions, I ended up having to widen one (and thankfully only one) of the body holes AND then had to work with the plate to bend it a little so everything lined up perfectly. If had only just followed the directions without second guessing, it would have been so much easier... Lesson learned. Never second guess Tony...

I'm always blown away at how well designed Genright parts are designed and made. I'm saving up for the Genright roll cage as my first mod on my JKU.
Well done Tony!
My left ear thanks you
Is there a extension cord for the backup camera too?
Do you have a link to that connector for the 3rd brake light / license plate light?
