The battery used a copper tube, an electrolyte, and an iron rod which is now known to create electricity. This was repeated on mythbusters and they were able to achieve 4 volts (when putting multiple in series) of electricity when using Lemon juice as an electrolyte.

Copyright law is complicated but essentially what Chanel asked for was not sufficiently original for new copyright to subsist. Possibly LV just want to keep it simple by not mentioning the history.

I remember as a teenager learning that Marc Jacobs made the designs of Lois Vuitton and completely disvalidating the brand- wasn’t even designed by the own designer?! And know I know the disgusting story of Bernard the traitor. How could he take what isn’t his?ugh

Absolutely over price but I remembered my mother had an old one, 30+ years old with receipt. I think she sold it for way much more than the $200 she paid in for it in the early 80s. Not suggesting people should buy bag for investment but you just never know.

It doesn't matter what I think about the quality of an LVMH product. The reality is, plebs like me will likely never make enough money to own one of them. LOL. Then it would be the stress and anxiety of walking around with it and getting it stolen or something. Seeing James Charles and Kylie Jenner gushing about them just turned me off the brand even more, tbh.

His beggingings remind me of Devil wears Prada. When she tells the intern, oh you think fashion doesn't have anything to do with you, but you don't know the history behind that blue cerulean sweater you're wearing... I thought LV doesn't have to do anything with me but we all owe him for the traveling suitcases we all use today. He literally invented the shape 😅

I find some of this hard to follow. Meaning...
If times got so hard because of the war that "he had to live in a shelter and when he was able to return to his shop" (Much Later) how did he have enough "savings" left to open another shop after having had to live in a shelter just before the war ended? "Hell O"

I LOVE Louis Vuitton. I have a few pieces of LV luggage myself and I think the price is what makes everyone want to own their own piece. Or pieces! If I had a no- limit budget, I would have my own fleet of luggage! Including a pet traveler for my Persian Cookie!

The thing about brands is the name. The power of a name is very often overlook. Yes as it may at first the name was worthless but due the high quality the value of the name slowly increase. Then was promoting the brand via models and collaboration with other high name brands which only empowered the name of LV further. Also with the law of supply and demand, due to the high premium quality only so much can be produced at a time which limits quantity. Paired up with the models, collaborations, it being a sought out high premium quality produce to sky rocket demand. So between on what limited product you have on supply, the very high demand and of course it being already know as a luxury brand, LV can dictate what ever price they want as everyone want these bags.
LV is the status of you are rich and you have made it in life. So being seen with a genuine LV product portrays the owner as wealthy in the public. Basic supply and demand concept,
If a product or resource is scarce and everyone wants it then the seller can dictate the prices with how much supply he/she has. In this case Seller has full control.
