Just started watching your older series of the wendigos, and the main thing I am not liking is the constant overpowered raids. I am fairly new to your content and have been enjoying mainly your project zomboid. This new series is looking good so far, enjoying your story telling and tips as you play. Hoping you keep it this way without too much of the raids from the wendigos series.
This series is set to the hardest default difficulty, so it will likely have powerful raids, but unlike the Wendigos, I'll also have defensive turrets and stuff like that to help

Glad you like them! I have many reasons not to load my series up with mods, but with that said my next planned series for RimWorld Twitch has like x3 or x4 more mods than anything I've done so far.
You could select your guardian via running a hell prison where you let them beat each other senseless until their melee trains up and/or via gladiator combat:D It would be very thematically evil to exploit prisoners or slaves and then elevate one of them above the rest, only to replace them as soon as you find someone better.
Love all your Rimworld content. This should be fun and I am looking forward to the "tutorials" as well because I'm still abit confused about the advancing ideology mechanic
Sure, but that's also pretty easy to just tell you. All of the rituals that take place in a room need to be at least 120 impressiveness to fully fulfill requirements. Add in any objects that the ritual requires (drums, speakers, altar, etc)

Ideology gives you the ability to grant someone a role that makes them a dedicated crafter, and as a result everything they make is 1 level higher than it would have been, so all of those masterworks become legendaries. Its MASSIVELY overpowered.
floors do not Produce filth it's just that pawns deposit filth on it but if you clean it its worth it since flooring is way cleaner than simple dirt floors and they have a higher beauty too
That's actually a common misconception. Filth is tracked from natural tiles to man made tiles. You can test it yourself, just explode firefoam near the entrance of your base and your people will walk on the firefoam and track it into the base.
Awesome, sounds similar to the play through DDRJake did, but I expect you'll do it all properly, rather than cheesing the wealth requirement with lots of gold items.

We're pursuing the Archonexus, so we'll be just treating slaves and prisoners as efficiently as we can as a means to an end.
