ABOUT CHICAGO FIRE
From renowned Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf ("Law & Order" brand) and co-creator Derek Haas, the writer behind "3:10 to Yuma," comes Season 8 of "Chicago Fire." The family inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other. Capt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) leads the Truck Company and brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) runs the Rescue Squad. The firehouse also includes Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker), a fireman's fireman. Not gonna lie, I was laughing when them guys bought the ruse and started to scatter in all directions like rats of a sinking ship.
I thought it was hilarious when one of them ran behind the house 2:19 😂🤣

STELLA IS SUCH A BADASS AND SOOOOO SMART TOO!! Some of my favourite parts of the episode was when Kelly helped Stella take of her jacket and she said she loved everything about him! And at the end of course when he said “you got this Stella Kidd” and they kissed. I’m a sucker for the Stella and Kelly scenes lol 😆 🥰❤️
Oh and of course the KISS ON THE FOREHEAD!! I rewatched that kiss like 80 times it was so so cute 🥰

@@IWantToMature85 But he hasn't really though, while I adore Cruz, Stella has achieved around the same in 5 years as Cruz has in 9, He tried to help Freddie and that other kid (who's name I have forgotten) with mixed results, Stella successfully helped that street kid in season 5 and got her ex to agree to rehab and helped Herrmann help that ex-firefighter. Cruz raised money for charity and he helped CPD, (for which he was rewarded by CPD) Stella saved those foster kids in season 7 and this girl here and founded a CFD wide program for at risk girls. Most of what Cruz has achieved has been personal or business related, like the Slamigan and not necessarily demonstrative of leadership skills, while Stella stood out at the leadership conference, taught classes at the academy and has worked hard to make Girls on fire a success. Not to mention the positive effect she has had on Severide, who has gone from a reckless, womanizing, borderline alcoholic who was constantly in trouble, to a well adjusted and responsible adult thanks to her unwavering support and love. She inspires him to be a better person, just like she does with her girls on fire. She has a natural ability to lead, inspire and encourage, and does so without bias or prejudice or expectation of reward whereas I don't feel that comes as easily for Cruz in fact I think he has gotten advise from Stella more often than the other way around. Also squad promotions are harder to come by too, so he'd probably have to leave squad which I don't think he would want, maybe in a few years he will be ready but right now I think he has other things on his plate (Baby, Slamigan etc.)
This episode was adorable, stellaride moments were sweet🥰

I really enjoyed the episode last night. Mostly because my favourite characters are Kelly and Stella for first. Then Violet, Gallo, and Ritter right after. And we got a lot of scenes with them so I was SO HAPPY😆🙌🙏❤️

I remember watching this episode. I enjoy seeing my Chicago neighborhoods on all three of these series. Miranda Rae Mayo is beautiful as Stella Kidd.

I still can't believe Boden and Severide pulled this off with Stella behind the scene to give them directions. Reminds me of Chicago PD when the entire crew raided a club to take all the drugs as a gang of thugs with Voight behind the scenes. So, Severide, Stella, Boden.... nicely done. 👍👏👏

It was definitely wise to go that method since it was obvious they weren't cops and couldn't do anything to threaten the gang members of they'd be in a shootout when they didn't have any guns.

@@IWantToMature85 It’s not. Sometimes you see the leadership skills needed in younger canidates. Even though she’s was senior to Otis and maybe even the same as cruz

I remember on a episode of 9-1-1 the dispatcher had a fire truck run the siren to locate a kid that was hiding from someone that wanted to hurt them.
Would love to see more storylines involving Herrmann, etc.. Seems like it's mostly the same characters every week that get storylines.
if you’ve seen the very beginning of the show herrmann has had multiple story lines. derek haas is giving stella a story line on her own because she never had one unless it was something with severide.

I have a question: so Hermann got promoted to Leutenant, which means at some point he had passed this exam, but was not promoted immediately. I mean, if Stella passes this test, there is a possibility she won't be a leutenant in the near future and will be promoted at some point in her life? Does anyone know?
You're right, if she passes the exam, that doesn't mean she'll be promoted to me a lieutenant right away. But technically, the lieutenants spot on truck 81 is empty at the moment because Matt is a captain so he's responsible for all shifts. That's why it's kind of unrealistic that he's still doing the lieutenants job on 81 additionally to his job as a captain. That's why I think they'll make Stella the lieutenant of 81.
