Oh YUP. I have like 4-5 video scripts half done of things I might never post haha. Sick video boss, keep it up.

My RUclips journey only started a few months ago (excluding my short) but I've always wanted to start since 2020.
I've originally planned to start my channel with a big video essay of Adventures with Anxiety, a small web game that resonated with me at the time. But the more expectations I put on myself with how professional the script is and how it fits with other video essays out there, I've got discouraged after 2 years and 3 different versions of the same thing.
Then, I've decided to go for the tiniest possible scope I could do: what if I made a character analysis of my favourite Muppet in the form of an animated poem? I've actually experimented with my writing and animation style before commiting planning fallacies and I've actually enjoyed myself! It was a huge confidence boost which inspired me to present my topics in more interesting ways instead of the standard RUclips formats (I accept criticism though, don't worry).
When I eventually make my first video essay, I want it to be small. Not only with technical scope but with it's topic; take one thing that interests me and talk about one sub-interest for a small 2-5 minute video. When I get more experienced with the craft, I could try experimenting with longer lengths.
But for now, I'm gonna take it slow and steady and my video style will find me along the way. 💜

Keep it up! Things become more instinctual and less stressful.

Quite a few of the videos that I haven't released are ones that I realize now an audience doesn't really care about (such as let's plays) and would also consume too much time to edit. While I have way too many ideas as a variety channel and not enough time for them all, I find myself more motivated to put out a video when there is somewhat of an alignment between something that I enjoy creating and something that my audience (and new viewers) will enjoy watching as well.
