She’s good but in this movie she’s just running around looking pretty
Only ever seen her in The Witch, which is a fantastic film.

I read an interview she did for Emma and she also made her nose bleed on cue. Well kinda, the scene called for a nose bleed and before makeup could do it, her nose started bleeding by itself... and she said she had never done that before.
She's on another level of acting lool
Her quietly singing "Think of Me" to make James cry... we would be friends lol

Is actually pretty easy, u just have to work on your eye movement, diaphragm and breathing
This is funny... But in all seriousness, it's gotta be the right cry for the scene
Ppl always say to think of those sad moments in ur life in order to cry, but unfortunately my mind can easily switch from one memory to another so it's really hard for me 😩

I cannot keep my eyes off her dress. That is such a lovely one-piece pattern with the blue flowers and the green leaves. It’s actually hard to distinguish where everything is, and that’s what I like about it. Stylish, but modest. It looks very nice on her.

As someone who also trained myself to do this, the “You can suck your tears back in?!” comment had me dead 🤣
HOW DID YOU DO IT
@@cboyd7033 practice really 🙂 everyone does it differently
@@Craig121000 I promise I only use it for acting 🙏🏻
I've been trying to explain it for a good few minutes and am having no luck.
Embody the emotion then cry how you'd normally cry if you were sad. The cry itself feels physically indiscernible from real crying - i.e. you'll get a lump in your throat, sinuses will be impacted etc depending on how far you push it - rather than be a 'fake cry', so to begin with try and manually replicate the physical process of actually crying - or building up to it.
With practise, try and embody emotions until you can turn them on and off like a light switch, and adjust the intensity of them. From there it's easy as your physical response to emotions will be organic, and you'll be able to naturally physically (body language, face etc) replicate the intricacies of the emotion. For example, you'll be able to make your face bulge with veins and spit fly out of your mouth in 'anger' as a natural response to said 'anger', rather than physically crudely replicating the responses.
Sorry, I've failed to describe it properly. Try and ask an actor!
Tips! I need tips please!! Lol
why no one is talking about "James, look at me baby...."
It's what we've come to expect from Jean Ralphio...
@@Graanvlok yeah...it was so tender😊

@@jadebethj4807 same!!!
Her accent is so weird, but not in a bad way. It sounds like an American accent with a British twang.
She was raised in Britain lol she just lived in America a lot
And she knows Spanish
She was raised both in Argentina and Britain from an Argentinian-Brit father and a Zambian-Spanish mother BUT was born in Miami.. And that's the simplified version
Her accent is said to be transatlantic
Her first language is Spanish but she was brought up between LA and London
I always find it interesting hearing her speak because i can never completely tell if it's more of an american or british accent since i feel like it alternated between every vowel.
I thought maybe speaking to James (with his British accent) changed up her accent a bit more than usual. That happens to me when I speak with people with a Southern accent, I start to pick it up it my own speech.
She sounds very Scottish to me here!
Dude this comment made me look her up bc i know she’s from Argentina but this accent thing idk I had to look her up. A quick trip to her Wikipedia page explains EVERYTHING so here it goes, her dad is Argentinian and Scottish and her mom born in Zambia with her parents being one from England and her mom (anya’s grandma) from Spain. Anya was born in Miami, raised in Argentina until she was 6 and then they moved to London. That’s one hell of a story lmao I’m just going to add that I moved countries when I was 7 so my (Spanish) accent changed according to the places and the people I was with and my theory is that now I tend to “imitate” people’s accents because of that… call me crazy for that idk but I stg it happens to me all the time lol so I think maybe that’s what happens with hers 🤷🏻♀️
shes explained this before, she grew up in argentina and moved to different places, family is from different places, english isnt even her first language, so she mimics the accent of whoever she is with subconsciously
It shifts.
She is such a lovely person. I have enjoyed everything she's done so far (that I've seen) and look forward to her being in many more films
Being a good actress is hard. Anya just got the gift

Elegant*
@@bellabana Agreed... I think she's more 'striking' than classically beautiful, which tracks as I believe she was originally discovered by a modelling agent and they tend to look for young women with unique and interesting looks more than 'pretty'.
