- Crash Landing on You broke records when its final episode peaked at a 24.1 per cent rating, clocking in an average 21.7 per cent overall viewership to beat what was formerly Korean TVN channel's highest-rated drama, Goblin, at 20.5 per cent. The drama is also officially the second-highest-rated cable drama, next to 2018’s Sky Castle.
Hyun Bin plays Ri Jung Hyuk, the proper and very handsome North Korean soldier. He is the first to stumble across Yoon Se Ri, played by Son Ye Jin, when she accidentally paraglides into North Korea.

I lost my husband of 45 years in December 2021. I was grieving , always crying and very sad . My friend suggested that I should start watching Korean drama. So I said to her I don’t know what to watch and she said watch CLOY . My gosh I watched it and couldn’t stop. My daughter and I watched it for a day and half. Just couldn’t stop . First time I’m so in love with leading characters. The whole story is beautifully scripted . Now I’m a Binjin fan and will read every article about them . Never in my whole life I will be star crazy like this. They are beautiful couple , good chemistry , married, and new parents. They’re match made in heaven . Wish we’ll them together again in new drama. By the way I watched CLOY quite a few times and plan to watch it again.

Ri Jeong Hyeok is perfect husband material. Don't know any better man in k-dramas. And Hyun Bin was a perfect actor choice. Couldn't imagine someone better than him to played Captain Ri. How could someone didn't fall for him like the character Seri or also Son Ye Jin in real life. This show is also such a great memory for them like their own lovestory, such a beautiful project together.

This is a wonderful selection for those of us who have watched CLOY multiple times. Each clip,brings forth the relevant scene. As an octogenarian who has seen and done much, I have to admit that I am drawn to the power of love in this series.

As much as I might like to see more of these characters, I hope they don't make second season. One of the things I enjoy about the K-dramas I've watched (and I've just recently started watching) is that they tell the story and stop. They don't just keep going until the ratings drop. Maybe I lack creativity but I cannot imagine what story they could come up with for these two characters that would be as heartwarming and beautiful as what we already have.

Shhh, to win the Award for CLOY? Nope, politically he cannot . He is such a huge persona in the SKorea movies that it would not be appropriate. Remind ourselves that he is, as a private person, a reserved soldier for SKorea. Tiktok was a perfect award in this case, consolation it could have been but he got an Award and am sure HYB fully understands. 🥰 This world is never perfect but we deal with it.

I’m watching this for the first time (only 2 episodes left!) and knowing that HB and SYJ were falling in love for real while filming this (and then got married / had a baby) makes it ALL the more sweet. Not to mention an absolutely fabulous fast. They all had the best chemistry with each other.

The simply beautiful couple of the Actors performing the movie (Yoon Seri and Ri Yeong Hyeok) & the one of the kind and beautiful scenes of the movie "Crash Landing on You". The movie performance shows sensitivity, modesty, care, slow, pure, ideal, also beautiful & modest love between two people, so different from each other, coming from two different Countries and differing from each other Societies but of the one Nation. The movie is with the sens of the fantastically composed scenes with the dose of the ideal dramatic love story, telling a difficult history of the two divided Countries. I simply love this Couple and the entire movie. Bravo to the screenwriter and director of the movie.
