Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific,
which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000[1] as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert.
Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game.
Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two playable factions, the Soviets and the Allies, which both previously
appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode
as opposed to a progressive story mode. Red Alert 2 was a commercial and critical success,receiving an 86% from GameRankings.

I'm amazed how active the modding community is and just the general interest in RA2 so many years later. Went back and played Yuris Revenge for the first time this year and had a blast. On Mental Omega now.
This is just a Regular map in Red Alert 2. No extra mod required!
Boris: **Has a HK, no lying, it is quite the caliber. Burst fire, pulling trigger twice to kill a zombie, around 8-10 shots**
Tanya: *pulls the trigger twice to kill a zombie with two pistols, 2-4 shots.**
Conlcusion: Boris can't swim.
But there is nothing he can not do

So, here is the scenario for that (I made it up): After Yuri's death by the hands of the Soviets, the remnants of his army unleashed a one last resort plan as vengeance for the death of their beloved leader. They conducted a scientific study during the war and used the project they worked with when they made the brute units. They found a breakthrough during their research to see how to avenge their leader. They used the technology they made on the brute to turn people into zombies, so they turned all the offline psychic dominators into genetic mutators and spread the virus in the atmosphere, thus turning people into zombies across the globe. Shocked by this as the only capable people remained in the world, Tanya and Boris reunite once more to find these hidden remnants of Yuri's forces and force them to make a cure for the people to return back to normal. Until then, they will have to kill a lot of friendly people to save themselves to help the world.

Unoriginal doesn't mean not awesome.
But yes, even the first C&C (TibDawn) had a zombie map, and Red Alert 1, and the vanilla RA2 also had one in multiplayer mode, it was set in Washington, the two players started as Russians and Allies just like here, with a set base. The goal was to protect the White House from the Soviets, or destroy it as the Soviets. But lots of civilians (zombies) spawned from the sides of the map, and they were extremely strong. Attacking everyone, they made it harder to complete the objective. (But it's too bad my CD broke, the downloaded version I have now does not contain it, and I can't find it anywhere. I wonder if anyone remade it.)

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! You left a link for how to play Red Alert 2. I've been looking for it for a while. It was always my favorite! I have in the meantime been playing through and beating Red Alert one remastered for the first time, but what I was really missing was Red Alert 2!
Remember the Giant Ants of Red Alert? I wish they would have done more with that weirdness. It was fun. So glad the mod community's got it covered.
So it needs a bit of balance changes. Maybe a week or two to perfect this map.

cnc generals have a great Resident evil mod with umbrella and BOW (zombie) faction, pretty fun if u ask me

dude zombie mod for this game works especially the zombie animation was taken from Yuri’s mind control portion with a fully modded ini (could make those citizen zombies eat like the terror drones, etc.). Very good use of it! yes please continue and add some unique missions

Im glad theres a zoom function in youtube. It looks like its better at 900x800 game resolution.
I can confirm this looks much better in lower resolution "map maker"
I keep thinking this is just a modded version of Tiberian Sun.
Does RA2 use the same/similar engine as TS?
I mean, I played pretty much all the C&C games, so I should know this.. but somehow I am at a loss here.
According to wiki it uses a heavily modified TS engine.
It would be cool if you make your own string tables or install ares 3.0 which you can just input "NOSTR:" on the names.
It may be limited but it would get rid of the "MISSING:" string name.
hopefully the creators of the map see this.

The modding community is amazing, and I love what they can do with RA2. All I can say is I felt pain watching this vid. The mod looks great, and I want to get it myself, but my god!!! Does this guy even know basic Macros for the game? Dude can't even attack move
The few times I tried attack move I was in trouble/cornered/killed faster than you can say "Dude can't even attack move".

Too high? It's 1080p. Modern times, modern resolutions. Plus you're at a disadvantage when playing online at smaller resolutions.
