Today though, we've decided to pick his brains on how to improve your dribbling as a winger. Curtis played a lot on the wing in his early days at the club, so in today's video he'll offer tips on how he attacks the defender in order to always destroy them - and together with Will John, Curtis will give you a full tutorial on what happens from the moment he receives the ball, to looking at the defender, taking the defender on and getting off a shot or a cross. Great one 💪 I’d say the quickest way to improve is really to put yourself in as many 1v1 situations as possible (in training, games) as every situation is unique. Then over time you’ll definitely figure out what works for you ⚽️

u will never have stamina built in you have to make stamina
Obviously every position needs stamina, but when playing CDM you mainly just have to position yourself very well. Your main purpose is to stay central never join an attack unless you have someone else covering you. You are there to support your other midfielders or defense and to control the tempo of the game. Like busquets for example, he is very slow, stamina isn’t the best but he is always in great position. He saves his stamina by not running a lot and being more of a supportive player. Basically always position yourself in open spaces and always be an option for your teammates.
