- Todd Hoffman on GOLD RUSH always said "More Equipment, equals MORE GOLD! Since Canada finally got season 2 of GOLD RUSH.. I am following every word to the letter. Enter in our new Trommel Trailer .. I am calling "PAY DAY". This mobile plant will allow us to screen new material off site.. but also give us a new level of efficiency on the mine site,
For those of you who don't know...
#youtubegold is a 100% Canadian #parody of the popular Gold Shows we see on TV such as #goldrush, yukon gold and others.. Yes, we are mining real gold.. and yes, we are full grown men using tiny machines to mine the gold. We are currently in the Second Season, and this is episode 18.
There is irony in all of what you see..is most of this show is all choreographed. THiS IS THE INTERNET.. Do not believe everything you see..! haha..
Almost all scenarios are staged, acting out our characters, comedy.. etc.. In fact, we are not even working for efficiency, as we are a group of hobbyists who are more interested in entertaining our audience.. than "actually getting gold". Being an RC show, we use as many RC's as possible to achieve this. Again, all we are doing is goofing off for a good Saturday of fun.
A few of the things that are not staged is our friendship, the laughter, camaraderie, THE WEATHER - and of course.. THE GOLD! (Yes, it's real pay dirt). The true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a group of goofballs entertain them with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment on RUclips!

@@beavis5250 i dont personal know where they get pay for RUclips gold but most likely out a local creek bed that runs close to bed rock. Pay a mostly found in the last 10 to 15 feet above bed rock. Also did you know the method used to get gold out of dirt or lose soil is called Placer mining.

Came across your channel today I really liked it even knowing it was stage but I read the description bc I thought you planted gold but you are actually mining which is really awesome it's cool just to have the rc shows but getting them to do what the big boys do is cool

His first I saw was him in his backyard of a much tighter knit neighborhood running Optimus Overkill through the soupiest mud he could make. I ruined RCs as a kid through mud. This You Tube Gold is in fact like you say, Gold
