How can you be so sure that he's "intended" to land to level 3s just by himself. If he wants to he can spend 7 bars. I actually think they need to just tweak his damage scaling.

Sonic didn't completely drop FighterZ. He placed second at an auction tournmanent pretty recently. He is focusing on MK right now. But he is still going to play FighterZ. Sonic is known for playing more than one fighting game at a time. He wont be number one in both games anymore though. It's impossible. All GO1 and Kaz do is play DBFZ. If he labs too much for them. His skill in MK11 will take a big hit which he can't afford to take because of Scar and Seminji. Guys like Tweedy are no threat. But he cant afford to be not be at his best against those two and who knows who else by the time EVO comes around.

For example : Daigo Umehara, everyone knows that he is the best SF player in the world and he hadn't won any SF5 tournament so far. I predicted that Sonic fox will drop in ranking after the EVO, because this game was new and unexplored, more rise of the Japanese player and higher competition level.

Goichi’s defense is actually godlike lol. The only chance you’ll ever get close to opening him up is by placing the guy in an unreactable 50/50 mix situation, which is what SonicFox & Kaz we’re doing prior.

In Sonic Fox's case he is simply put a prodigy through and through, I ain't touching that no time soon. GO1, to be able to be on his level of defensive play I would need to not only put in hours but years of training to get that good. And even then, I still probably won't, cause there are people who played as much and trained as much as him that are not on his level of defense
GT Goku assist is so good rn for getting into lockdown situations bc whenever you hear the assist call you instinctively jump to avoid the beam bc we’re so used to normal horizontal beam assist, but now GT Goku assist comes diagonal where you jump and get lockdown into mix...over time I think we will adapt to this
I can't believe I dropped this game for mk11 but after this match I'm back and I agree with gt goku haven't played many good ones but watching this I can see what you mean about his assist. His damage is crazy good with the spirit bomb setup.
