What make Chinese metalheads most UPSET at Wacken Open Air 2024?

Due to the internet and language barriers, we’ve realized that our access to international bands and music festivals is actually quite limited. Likewise, European metalheads and bands are essentially unaware of Chinese bands and metalheads, as they can't see our content. After people found out that we are the biggest Chinese rock&metal media, they wall want to watch our videos and follow us. But unfortunately, they didn’t have Douyin, WeChat, Little Red Book or Bilibili. I had to show them videos from Rock Talking Heads on my phone one by one while explaining our rock culture in China.
At that moment, I truly felt the divide between us caused by the internet-a group of people who share the same passion but are drifting further apart, despite having so much to exchange. It was truly upset.
However, there’s always hope. We were fortunate to interview the founder of Wacken Open Air, Mr. Thomas Jensen. Over these 33 years, he has encountered numerous difficulties and challenges, but as long as there's passion in your heart, you can always overcome them again and again and eventually see the day of victory!
