The problem was created by the past inequality blacks were given poor education in the past good education was only for white so everything that is happening now it's the end result off the past
They were all sold to Ecuador and Draken in the USA - all still flying. I saw the last Cheetahs flying at OR Tambo about 3 years ago, being tested for export. They were replaced by Gripen aircraft and retired about 15 years ago - the Gripens are mostly in storage.
Unfortunately no. These are bits of video and photos I took at the 2007 air show. The Cheetah's last flight in the SAAF happened during 2008. It was replaced by the Gripen.
It was a normal public access air show, but the location and facilities made it possible to do an air to air demonstration, since the base also hosts the Test Flight and Development Centre, where not just aircraft but missiles and bombs are developed and tested. It is probably the only type of facility where one can create a safe and controlled environment for such a demo at an air show.
Was trots op julle en is nog steeds. ❤
The Cheetah was flown by the best fighter pilots in the world who upheld the SAAF's much respected reputation.
To think we built all these and lots of Impala. Now they can't even run a municipality.

"We" didn't build shit everything on the cheetah is Israeli and French.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ the best delta wing aircraft from danel
It's a converted Mirage - Denel just designed the conversion, not the whole plane, as I understand it
Correct. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Cheetah
@@innfield8836 - Even so, that is an amazing and great undertaking.
Kudos to the Denel team !!! Salute!!!
Great footage but pity about the music drowning out the jet engine
I would give my left 🥜 just to be able to see a Cheetah C in person flying again..

The RD-33 would have made her into a beast! Great aircraft!
How many are still working amd why dont we ever see them being flown?

We should have kept the Cheetahs instead of wasting a whole lot of money on the Grippens that are not even flying.
Dieselfde gevoel daaroor.

The decline in airshow quality is saddening.
They even shot a live missile 😮
Was this a normal public airshow or it came with some exclusivity?
