Another beautiful reaction from you. I love the sincerity of your opinions and observations. I am also so glad you showed Emma's walkout, I think it is such a sweet moment when she asks her father, Vico, to adjust the microphone stand for her. Plus to see how relaxed she was at that age ahead of a live performance. A 'stage beast' as Andre Rieu affectionately calls her.
BTW your initial pronunciation of Emma surname, that is, as we would say 'cock' was absolutely 100% correct. Some people get wrongly distracted by the translation of kok to cook rather than the pronunciation which you got right.
Emma's powerful highs are breathtaking, but maybe it is her lower range that is even more extraordinary. For a young, female, and tiny singer to control those low notes is just remarkable and so beautiful. Her poise on stage even then was very evident. And this was (within a few days) 12 months BEFORE she won The Voice Kids.
It is also striking when you look at the Emma here, and the the Emma when she recently sang 'Imagine' (that you have also reacted to) how in 4 years this young lady has grown up so fast, as a person, and as a singer.
Keep it up, I loved it. ❤

Sometimes God bestows such an abundance of blessings on some individuals that he must also 'tether' them, as you put it, to keep them from flying too close to the sun. Whether or not this is the case with Emma, we will never know for sure. We can be sure, however, that he has blessed her abundantly with musical talent and a dynamic personality that allows her overcome severe personal obstacles.
    Great reaction. Thanks so much.

Emma Kok said she is preparing for something big. Coming from someone who sings for 10.000 people every night with Andre Rieu it must be something epic. Everyone who knows Emma knows her brother Enzo plays the violin but not many know her sister Sophie sings as well. She is a good singer but she doesn't like to be in the spotlight on stage. Altough she did sing for big groups of people when she was younger. I believe both Enzo and Emma played the violin to accompany Sophie's singing back in the day.

As you correctly pointed out Enzo and Emma on violins supported Sophie singing on a number of occasions back in the day, including in this very concert where Emma sang Opportunity. On this occasion, Sophie sang a beautiful Dutch song 'Mag Ik Dan Bij Jou' (Can I Then Come To You). Here is a version with English subtitles, the link should take you to the right time stamp 37:17 in the video: ruclips.net/video/sdQRB8iK5-A/видео.html 👍 Notice how Enzo (17) watches over and helps lead his young sisters.

@RogerC-2024 Oh thank you for the additional information about Emma Kok and her brother and sister. You are the one that puts English subtitles under video's of Emma right. Thank you for that. I will look at the performance by Sophie.

@@2012inca yes, that’s me. I made a video of Enzo’s career too in which the 3 siblings perform and I added a translation of the lyric. It’s magical seeing them together. 👍

@RogerC-2024 It reminds me of the way Andre Rieu constantly has his eyes focused on Emma when they perform together. I saw a short video clip a few weeks ago where all three siblings (all very young) had just performed, I believe it was Silent Night, Enzo and Emma on violin and Sophie singing. At the end Enzo lovingly guides Emma off of the step she is on (she is so small), and keeps his hand on her shoulder as they all three take a bow. Very touching. He is a good brother to his younger sisters, and no doubt feels a special obligation to Emma.

Sia wrote this song for the 2014 movie remake of the musical Annie.
