I have the same skiff, but with a power pole. I don't trust just the power pole when I get out and wade. In that situation, what's the smallest anchor you'd be comfortable using in combination w the power pole in shallow water? Trying to save hatch space.
I keep a 13lb danforth anchor in the skiff at all times. If you’re going to keep an anchor in the boat (which you should) I’d recommend having one that will hold the boat in any worst case scenario situations. I hardly notice my anchor in the bow hatch. Sorry, I know that might not be quite the answer you’re looking for, but at the end of the day the Merchant Mariner in me takes over before the fisherman when it comes to safety gear.

Before I bought this one, nope. Since I've bought it though I've been on a lot of different ones, and there has only been one skiff I've been on that I wish I had bought....a Sabine Carbon
It generally stays relatively cool. Not enough that it’s ever bothered me at all. Definitely don’t regret not having seadek there. If the aluminum is a bit warm, the seadek is too and that’s a decent sign it’s too hot on the flats for fish

I use a second stake out pole and tie the bow rope to it as well

How is this boat with a tiller? If you had to regularly run an hour or more to get to your spots, would you get a center console instead of a tiller?
I love having the tiller other than when I make long runs. If you were running that far, I’d recommend considering a console.

How much was the boat?
Whats the weight on these? It wasn't listed on the website, which is weird the company is actually "Ultralight Boatworks LLC".
I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I do know it’s the same as any fiberglass skiff on the market.
How much heat builds up on the gunnels during the hottest summer days? Do you wish you had seadek on the gunnels?

The title is a little deceiving. "Walk through" means outside with the boat describing things on it.
