Our Cat has a Twin. He looks and acts exactly like this. Except for the Boat rides, he traveled around the USA in a Fifth Wheel camper for a year riding on the console of a big Ram truck was not afraid ever. He would always wait inside until I called him to hold and Carry him to the camper and jump in. He didn't want to touch the ground in unfamiliar places. This breed is so Smart.

You do a fantastic job of keeping your kayak stable so Louis doesn't have to do much to keep his balance at the far nose tip of the kayak :) He is a true high wire cat ❤
When he encountered the fallen tree, Louis was quick to hop up on the bow of the Kayak to get a close look and assess the damage. Then, as soon as possible, he disembarked so he could call it in to the Wasserschutzpolizei (River Police)!🚨

Fun story about a kayaking tour down the river Örtze and a fallen tree. We were paddling in a small group of boats (single Kayaks). Went separated because some were a bit quicker then the others. It was a small tributary with quicker currents.. I was paddling along in splendid solitude when suddenly an empty kayak came floating behind me. I secured the boat and paddled back up the creek, the other kayak in tow line. There a tree (larch) was laying across from steep riverbank to riverbank. On my way down I crossed the barrier just by ducking under the tree and through - easy. But as I came back a person hang over that tree. The owner of the empty Kayak who got kicked out of the boat by the larch, however this could have happened. Luckily he still had time to grab the paddle. So funny..
How much I love cruising in my kayak... Meow meow! I steer it by swishing my tail... I greet all my friends upon the river... O Meowmy, when will we set sail?* *(Sung to the tune of "How much is that doggy...")
@aninewforest Not near me but there are places I love to go on vacation where they have canoes or "tubing" where you float on a small river in an inner tube from a tire.
@Randomness5050 Sounds delightful and a metaphor for dealing with worries. Just imagine drifting down a gentle river in a chubby tube, bouncing off rocks, spinning, laughing every time the spray hits you... I could use a bit of that right now!
