Traffic in RI is NOTHING compared to north Jersey.
I live just passed the exit for Seaside. RI is a casual drive compared to NJ.

Born and raised in RI and left for the military when I graduated high school.
After 16 years I got offered a sweet job in RI so I moved to the RI guard and took the job.
After a while ended up in Texas and in a county close to the size on RI in area and population.
We have traffic issues as well as endless construction as well as property tax. When we moved here cost of living was amazing and I got a huge house for cheap money.
I miss RI summer, and friends but thats about it.
Perfect example I live in east providence and they have like 6 roads there working on at the same time why? Just focus on one and get it done until they finish and move to the next project
LOL, it's not rocket science
Martha's Vineyard is Massachusetts but I get your point. The political atmosphere in RI is horrible and the citizens are one of the most pessimistic. Drivers are careless and almost every RI resident has something to complain about yet do nothing and vote the same way. The citizens expect top dollar but can be horrible at their job or have no experience or higher education but want top pay. Hand outs for self inflicted troubled individuals is ridiculous compared to other states. Beautiful state but it really needs better people and politics. Of course that's a generalization and there are outliers. There are some very loyal, kind and honest individuals in RI just sometimes its far and few between but that of course depends on your atmosphere and selection of people you know. From someone who lived in RI for 24 years moved to Massachusetts for 20 years and served in the military for 8 years and have been all across the country meeting with many people I can attest that this is a pretty accurate description ✌🏽🇺🇸
