@Melody Song It says 'version' cause nowadays we got a hundred thousand different 'versions'. Back in the day it just said 'Holy Bible' and we didn't have debate over nonsense like we do nowadays. It was the Holy Bible, complete and perfect, and you read it to learn the Will and the Word of God. Nowadays you never know what poisoned leaven of heresy you might be picking up, whether 'the message' a 'living 'bible' ' an 'ESV' a 'study bible' or whatever you want to call it, it takes away from the simple truth of the Gospel of our Lord.
pastor hicks, what about to ask you may sound to you as if im being rude, nasy, questioning god.. none of the above is true. im just wondering, did you ever wonder why your bible is called the king james VERSION? did you ever look into the history of how that particular bible came into being? it is only a version of the written word. its very interesting how it came about really..there's a documentary on it called KJV.. you can rent it at almost any video place as well. you should look into it.

There is only one who can save your soul from eternal hell and that is Jesus Christ he died was laid in a tomb and raised up from the grave the 3rd day he conquered death and hell for all mankind and by faith you can be saved If Thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God has raised him from the dead Val shalt be saved for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The truth will make you free when you reckon in your mind that God is the truth he will open your eyes of understanding. Also do some comparing King James verse all perverted versions you cannot have the word of God while removing God's deity from that book. I wil pray for you and your studies.

God through his mighty power delivered me from the prison of addiction and get freed me of the lies that came along with it...such as disease is an addiction. By the word of God I saw myself for what I am without God and that is evil wicked selfish depraved and as base as they get. By faith I am free by God's grace I am healed I have no desire to drink or drug and my God and Saviour has used those dark times to help so many Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Psalm 40 I waited patiently for the Lord and He inclined unto me and heard My Cry he brought me up also out of a horrible pit out of the Miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings and he hath put a new song in my mouth even praise unto our God many shall see it and fear and shall trust in the Lord blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust and and respecteth not the proud nor such as turn aside to lies many O Lord my God are thy wonderful Works which thou hast done and my thoughts which are to us-ward they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee if I would declare and speak of them they are more than can be numbered.
