I have to admit that I bought into the hype and was very excited about this team's outlook for this season with Cameron and Rickea. Apparently it's gonna take some time for them to gel, and if we don't find a point guard we're not going to ever even sniff a postseason spot Turnovers are just killing us 😒😔😒
Allemand would have been point guard, she would have helped a ton. True point guard, like Vandersloot. Hamby has been great, what a waste of a year apparently.
@@blakemoreln Miller keeps running Lexie Brown at the pg spot and it's just not working. Lexie is a 2 guard. Unfortunately the other options don't seem to be any better than her. I thought I remembered seeing something about Zia Cook running the point but I haven't seen him use her there yet. Is she injured? So far Hamby has been the lone bright spot for the Sparks. Hopefully she'll be able to sustain this level of play and will want to stay around and help this team become champions.
Got to remember, they got the pick to draft Cameron for a reason! Just like the Fever, one rookie is not magically going to make LA a title contender. They need time, and maybe some trades in the off-season to reach a high level.
@@professorspark2361 it wasn't just the one Cam Brink pick that had me excited. They got Cam and Rickea, and I thought they had a decent pg. I also knew that Hamby was a special player and would bounce back from last year after coming back from having her child. Cam is still being hampered with piling up fouls (especially early in the game), and turnovers are killing us. We need to find a good pg, Cam has to work on playing defense without fouling, and Miller has got to design a gameplan that has Cam and Rickea in the starting lineup and playing together for significant minutes. Cam and Rickea are going to go through their growing pains, but that's what happens with starting rookies in any sport, but it should benefit the team in the long run. I'm probably delusional but I'm gonna hold on to the hope of us having a good season and building from there.

I'm glad the WNBA is whooping CC because when the buzz wears off, you'll go back to empty stadiums just like you want them. Everyone is making noise. Where were you for 20 years?
