A lovely tractor. Very Irish, belting down the road with one hand on the wheel and the other holding the phone! You can get a bracket to hold the phone.
The leveling dude is supposed to be up enough to clear the console when adjusting. It has seized in the square telescopic part outside and it has gripped it pulling it down. The lift lever next the panel should be fully back and use the inner lever one for normal linkage work.
@dennishickey5500 The bulb is probably blown in the dash for the H light however there is a potentiometer type unit that goes onto the gear selector shaft which can give trouble but it's only electrical not mechanical!
Very nice tractor out front, cab with the flat floor is great, then you come round to the back and you see what looks like a 168 back end, when you compare this to other manufacturers, the back end got beefed up over time, at a price its certainly worth considering.
Not a massey man, but id take a 399 any day of the week.. neighbour has one as his main farm runner rounder, had it for as long as i can remember... its a solid oul yoke..
A 12/12 is a very desirable model, better than the 18/18 in my opinion and with such low hours I’d nearly be willing to give about €30k myself if I had it handy, mad to buy one of these
@@PaddyGun Definitely the 12/12 is the one to have, I'm lucky enough to have one, totally original, never been painted, my dad bought it in 1999 with just over 2000 hours on it, its got just under 3000 hours on it now so yes, there are still very clean original 399's out there

Why in medium gear not high on dash when driving
