Nice teaching methodology, man! Clear, understandable, spoke just enough to get your point across and provided link to deepen the students knowledge in tone curves... Nice job!
Set the blue hue to -100 Shift the red hue to 50 Turn the tone curve to around 50 (or according to the individual) . . . . Looks like I saved your time Thank me if possible
Thanks for this video! So helpful! Which version of Lightroom are you using? I have the latest version and I can't find the camera callibration panel anywhere :(
I thought the one at the end of the adjustment section was fine, then it shows later the same pictures and UGHHHH, you're right. Not the same settings seems to have been applied.
Brandon Mikeal It certainly isn't my taste, but I'm really careful how I use colour palettes, gradient maps, gradient fills and anything else that corrupts the colours of an image.
I don’t think preferences matter when you’re completely removing all highlight information in your shot... it just looks amateur. Like, the street lamps looks like the explosion emoji
Denny, great video! I just watching again for the n-th time, and I noticed that at 3:14, you set Blue Primary Hue to -100 for the pink and cyan look, but you don't mention it on the audio.
SUBSCRIBED!!!!! awesome content. Quick question, what camera would you refer for a beginner photographer? :) THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE IF YOU RESPOND, CAUSE I'M CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ADVICES. :)
Thanks Kenneth! It really depends on what you're going for. But I'd say that for something pocketable, get the Sony RX100 (RX100 MKIII is the best deal IMO). If you're looking for something more pro & expensive, check out the Fuji XT-20. There's also a ton of bargains on M43 cameras if you're on a budget.
Is there a camera that can shot awesome photos as well as capable of shooting 24fps videos? I'd love to have a camera that i can use as well for cinematography. Thank you :)
+root there's a plug-in called Export LUTs which can do this for you. Alternatively, you can create the effect with adjustment layers in Photoshop CC then export it to a LUT from the File menu.
Affinity Photo has a Develop persona but I can't find the RGB adjustments there. Try using LUTs instead. In Affinity Photo, add a LUT adjustment layer. You can download my free orange/teal LUTs here: dennystips.com/orange-teal-luts-actions/
If you try doing it with split toning, it won't look good. Split Toning tints the photo based on brightness. (ex. bright areas are orange, dark areas are teal). HSL shifts the colors (ex. warm colors are orange, cool colors are teal).
I often use the split toning with orange (with low opacity) for highlights and blue (with low opacity too) for shadows, and it looks just fine. I find it much more subtle, and less flashy. But I guess it's a matter of taste.
ok i have the same ending software as you buy on a HP Computer and my layout and everything looks totally different from what yours looks like. Can you help me please? 😬
Hmm... if you're subscribed to Creative Cloud, there's two Lightrooms. One is Lightroom CC and the other is Lightroom Classic CC. Make sure you're using Lightroom Classic CC. Lightroom CC doesn't have the Camera Calibration settings. The Orange Teal Lightroom presets will work in Lightroom CC btw. So if you prefer that, just download the presets.

Everyone has different preferences but you can alter the settings to suit yours
I thought the one at the end of the adjustment section was fine, then it shows later the same pictures and UGHHHH, you're right. Not the same settings seems to have been applied.

Hi, how can I do it with affinity photo and photo director or dxo optics pro? I don't use photoshop or lightroom

this was super helpful thank you for the vid!!!
+Annie Nelson glad u found it helpful. Thanks for watching Annie!
You sir deserve my subscribe and like! 👍🏻😁
+Ian Castro thanks so much Ian!
How does this differ than split toning? (Teal in shadows and orange in highlights)
If you try doing it with split toning, it won't look good.
Split Toning tints the photo based on brightness. (ex. bright areas are orange, dark areas are teal).
HSL shifts the colors (ex. warm colors are orange, cool colors are teal).
Denny's Tips cool, thanks
I often use the split toning with orange (with low opacity) for highlights and blue (with low opacity too) for shadows, and it looks just fine. I find it much more subtle, and less flashy. But I guess it's a matter of taste.
Cool vid. Thanx!
Whats the song name played in background
thank you for tips
Thank u !! The best
Really good video! Thanks! :)
THANK YOU!
By chance have you viewed Serge Rameli's 'Hollywood look' which seems to be what you are going for here?
I just checked it out briefly and he seems to be doing it a different way (with the split toning adjustment) and the results look quite different.
awesome.. btw whats the name of the song you use in this? its beautiful
thank you for this. made my ttravl photos looks great :)
