Seeing you make your own characters was one of the factors that got me into storytelling and ocs. Thanks for that. Thank you for releasing these characters models, so we can make our own stories with them, and they can all live on. Thanks for the laughs. Thank you for everything. I actually have my own idea for a fanseries: Silly Alternate Universe where Mr WPNZ sticks around. He and Karen's assassin crimes are forgiven on the condition that they work as security for SWAGMASTER's Area 64. The series follows their crazy adventures at work (& with other SMG4 characters) while trying to readjust to polite society and be half decent parents. Crazy shenanigans ensue!

Oddly enough, just recently I remembered the existence of SMG4 (not by name), remembering the pre-Covid times where I binged videos of these silly characters messing about in all sorts of comedic yet surprisingly well-written ways. But I just couldn’t put my finger on what the channel name actually was. Then I scrolled along my home page once, and saw the channel name of a video I had just scrolled a little too far past, “SMG4”. That video was the very one your comment and this reply is under. I scrolled up slightly and saw the title, thumbnail, and duration, and I knew it was going to be bittersweet. What instances did you edit videos for SMG4? Well, I probably wouldn't remember anyway since I stopped watching around when the arcs started and anime started being heavily forced into the videos. Felt unnatural and just didn't appeal to me in an attempt to appeal to me, is how it felt. I'm still sad SMG4 videos are ending though and feel bad I didn't give the new ones much of a chance but it is what it is, if the shift from what I enjoyed to what it became didn't appeal, then I can't help it. Anywho, not sure if you remember me, you probably don't, I'm probably too insignificant to remember, but I would have most certainly ignored your video I disliked as of the latter half of 2025 (even if it used my waifu in a way I dislike and put her in the same video as Mario protagonists I also dislike) as opposed to ever commenting on anything you made, woulda just hid channel, blocked recommendations and all and left it at that. SMG4, I've been following you since your first FNAF video in 2014. You've always been an inspiration, and currently everything I work on is so that one day I can even come close to your level. My biggest goal right now is to make silly long animations like those classic Mario videos, develop arcs within them, and finish everything in movies. Currently, we're working on a huge TADC project, it's 2D animation, but all the humor and type of video is extremely based on yours. It's the project that will start this whole journey, all of this is so that my channel can truly take off, and in a few years I can found a separate animation studio and invest in Brazilian indie series by other talented people, just like you did with Liam, Goose, and all the others. It seems like an impossible goal, but my team and I are already working on it, all inspired by you! Your channel was very important to me and continues to be. I hope to be able to do at least a part for the indie animation community in my country the way you did for yours, and I hope that your work, even after it's finished, can inspire other people in the same way, THANK YOU!!!

I was afraid this would be the case after seeing the movie. I'll be honest: this hurts a lot. SMG4 was my favorite webshow as a kid and inspired me to get into 3D modelling and storywriting. ...but, I'm glad the series is ending on your own terms - at the highest point yet - rather than mysteriously ending or becoming a shell of itself. I'll miss it a lot, but I'll enjoy what'll happen in the next few weeks. Thanks for the good times.

The first video I ever watched from you was "War of the fat italians 2012" and I had a blast with that video, your channel was a big part of my childhood, I looked forward to every weekly entry and somehow you always managed to be consistent, for 14 years you did your best everytime and it shows with how much you have grown since. I was afraid this would be the case after seeing the movie. I'll be honest: this hurts a lot. SMG4 was my favorite webshow as a kid and inspired me to get into 3D modelling and storywriting.
...but, I'm glad the series is ending on your own terms - at the highest point yet - rather than mysteriously ending or becoming a shell of itself.

I was here from 2012 to 2018. The first video I ever watched from you was "War of the fat italians 2012" and I had a blast with that video, your channel was a big part of my childhood, I looked forward to every weekly entry and somehow you always managed to be consistent, for 14 years you did your best everytime and it shows with how much you have grown since.
The new content wasn't for me but I never stopped admiring the fact that you went from someone making mario 64 bloopers to someone that owns a company and created so much in the spawn of 14 years, influencing many generations. What you accomplished is a legacy that will forever be remembered.
