Your perspective is really interesting regarding jumping with lower bb bikes, for me while on a higher bb bike my body position is much more upright and therefore obstacles next to me while I'm on the rear wheel seem much lower thus making them easier to jump on 😄 cool build once again!
Just a random simple thought. Heavy trials bike makes your riding look much better. Just looks smoother and we can see way less small corrections from the side. Yep, you think that your riding were not the best on the Arcade but it really looked smoother then everything. It's like you have high-precision instrument or hummer in your hand. And thats why pure trials riding looks so bad for the most riders from the different disciplines. Uber-light bicycles with uber-high bottom brackets are the most reasons why trials is where it is now. Moving with your bike and making tricks or moving your body by using your bike. I just tired of this tones of messages in my local bike chat about weight of the parts, haha. Keep making vids! :)
Onza was right on the edge of the market giving us the same style but slightly tweaked frame of a much higher cost. It worked. I really like mine and it could take a proper hammering. Lovely build Alic. Really curious about the back brake how your getting on with it.

NIce one! I have a T-Rex too, with the regular brake mounts. I like It! Weighs still less, than the '10 UMF Hardy Steel 2 did before... :D I bought the Steel 2 to mod it for trials learning (after watching you here... :) ), and got the T-Rex when the Steel 2 reached its build limits, and wanted a trials specific frame. When I first built it up in early may this year, and did the first few rear wheel hops, I was amazed how well and easy it handles, compared to the Hardy Steel, I'd say too that it has a good geo! You look relaxed on this bike! Hoping to see you at a comp with it! :)
So I bought a cheap mod the other week, primarily because I wanted the HS33 brakes off it, but the cranks intrigued me. It has a front freewheel and the brand is Beatles. Great video and build. I have a T Rex you prob seen it at the Bob mac scottish round earlier in the month. They may be heavy but they take all sorts of hits 😊
In my experience as rider, mechanic and financier those brake mounts scream "HS 33 expensive, fixing awkward. PROTECT THE BRAKE!". Also drops the mass a little (look, it's not a huge amount but marginal gains or something). Wouldn't be shocked if a previous owner had the mounts moved for some similar purpose. It would also theoretically put the braking force in a location that frame could handle better which could allow a lighter brake booster or even no booster with the same or similar power. It would also help keep the old ball trap tucked out the way.
@@Ali_Clarkson that might be why they did it then. Odds are the intention was to run a HS style brake using a hose splitter to improve the clearance round the bracing while benefiting from the stiffness of the frame and weight savings from ditching the booster.
i got no darn idea about trial bikes. but that tiny, unusable seat adds just the right amount of comical absurdity, to me as a road bike casual, who only gets his ass of the saddle, to sideways hop up and down curbs, or blatantly ignore the existance of rough terrain, without slowing down.
