I don’t usually like country music but this album had some really good songs, glad my friend recommended me heavily to listen. Jakes piano - Long Island one of my favorite songs this year tbh
Jake's Piano - Long Island has been my fav. Have listened to each song about 3-4 times at this point other than that song, but maybe my fav will change as I listen more. He has so much great music
that poem is really nice. love that it’s the opening track. i love “i remember everything” and “spotless”. probably my two favorite songs atm. the album in general is just amazing, great reaction!
I was nervous knowing he was dropping a new album and I’m seeing him at a festival in Oct. I was sure he’d play more new songs and I wouldn’t really know them, but I’m ALL for it now!! This album is 🔥!
I'd have to say my favorite song from this album is El Dorado I live around El Dorado Kansas and it is a big part of my life so the song kind of means something to me.
He is talking about his mom in several of his songs, including summertimes close. From what i understand, she died of cancer. He references the mean, mean gene in one of the songs.
Great album. Only knock I have on it and his other songs is that they all sound so similar. Most of his songs sound the same, but at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter. Even though they sound the same they all have a different message if you listen to the words. His lyrics are always amazing.
@@treylife_the album also has so many coastal vibes and references throughout it like “I’ve seen children playing on the coastlines” on “Summertime’s Close” as well as “Remember jumpin in the pool when we was fully clothed in August” on “Spotless”. Also “I'm just goin' as far as the wind blows, Coastlines to the flatlands” on Holly Roller and way too many more to point out on here lol
Thanks for this!!! I adore this Man since the first album!! He did say he put his EVERYTHING into this album! My fav so far! He is definitely a song writer and poet
Zach uses all kinds of instruments. He always has a guitar as the base of 99% of his songs. He runs some base and drums usually then then he there’s usually a harmonica or fiddle in them. Like traveling man opens with a harmonica and Oklahoma City is fiddle. And he also used piano now lol
Is this Zach’s best album??
Yes, if not the best album in country music in the last decade
@@DBrentGregstonagreed.
Hard to put into words how good this album is!

The iTunes Charts tell you everything you need to know. He don’t miss.

This may arguably be the best album in the last 10 years that Country Music has given us.

The way he pronounces el dorado….
My hometown is always mispronounced too
Dor-AH-doe instead of Dor-AY-doe
Apparently thats how it’s pronounced for the town he refers to in kansas. The song is about his friend Garrett Brewster who committed suicide
hard to pick a top 3
no frfr im stuck between 10 songs lol
Great reaction bro
Thx mannn
