It's not kar98s problem. You have to use a compensator for single shot killing.
Even if using compensator, level 3 helm and vest resists.

The Kar98 does not suck. You just need to learn how to effectively use it.
The Kar98's bullet speed is just sad even though it has higher damage than the M24.Sometimes enemies move away from their position before the bullet even reaches them.
