1987 certainly was a busy year in Take the High Road, unfortunately we only have a few episodes at the moment it would be nice to see more from'87.I know this episode is from late '86 but soon fizzles out(On a big storyline at that.)
Decent husband…Eddie has some serious unresolved childhood trauma. His ACE score is seriously high. He should not consider any relationships until he deals with it. His Rejection Sensitivity Disorder is on display in this episode. Then there is his total lack of qualifications and job prospects. He is the epitome of a bad husband! Sheila is little more than a child herself. I think she is only 20 at this point. It’s not her role to be Eddie’s support human. She needs to be free to pursue her own life’s desires.
20:06 - _''Like many a soldier, I brought a gun back with me from the war''_ - Aye, whatever! A _real_ soldier wearing a tie (either in Regimental dress or civvy) would not have it half way up yer chest man. It'd be 2 fingers distance from the top of yer belt min! Ask me how I know... LOL! - it's the wee details that other folk miss oot on!
Never a dull moment at Blair's stores , one good storyline after another. Thank you , much appreciated. ☂️🌧️

A gorgeous picturesque village...quaint cottage..decent husband....
But Sheila still isn't satisfied 😕 😒 🙄
I'd never want to leave Glendarroch , but I think Sheila's got an ambitious nature.

What happened ?? Did Mr Hendry confront Brian Blair or did Isobel manage to get rid of him (Mr Hendry) before Brian returned
