This band has inspired me to draw again after 2 years of heartbreak just hearing their music flow within help me accomplish some drawings that are unfinished or new.Its ashame that the band broke up when Kami died he was the heartbeat to the band.We will all miss the heartbeat he gave to Malice Mizer R.I.P Kami.

"merveilles" was the very first MALICE MIZER concert I bought and right from the start, I was completely blown away. This performance and song moved me to some serious tears, I kid you not, esp. from 3:52 onward. The power and passion in Gackt's voice and movements are just...wow. That said, the live version blows the album's and single's version right out of the water.

Ok, seriously, to all the people going "OMG is are that real bloodz?" and "Omg GAckt toootally died after that performanze", I can honestly tell you, that you're um...not all there? to put it mildly. I'm a special effects artist and the blood on his hands is too red to be real. It looks nice and definitely helps out with the overall feeling of sadness and despair of the song. Also, Gackt is not dead and has a very successful solo career. Look him up, he's all over youtube >.>
It has to be 1998 since Le Ciel is from Merveilles, (released in March of 1998) Gackt is still there (he left the band in January 1999) so Kami-Sama has to be drumming. The band never replaced Kami, and after Kami died in mid-1999 they only had session players in studio & live situations.
I love Mana's guitar in this live. I have to listen real hard to the studio version to distinguish what i think is his guitar in the song, I wish it was just a bit louder in the album version

I assume this is from the live DVD Merveilles Shuuen to kisuu L'Espace. Not sure when it was filmed, but the DVD released in October of 1998.
