One of my favorite movies, all star cast for the era. Although Shattner over acted a bit in the role of the disillusioned ex priest who drank too much.
Best movie I've seen on RUclips in a very long time. I wish I could find more of this quality

Good movie indeed. Acting is well and William Shatner did remarcably as well as Martin Sheen and other actors. It was just treated like a television movie but still good.

Shades of "Foxfire" with a decent ending. Unfortunately, not something I would buy for my collection, but I did enjoy seeing Cliff Robertson again. Going to watch "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" this afternoon.
William Shatner gets to say "Star Wars" and gets shot in the face. Symbolically.
“Falcon Down” as the best action movie almost is comparable to “Firefox” as the 1981 action movie about Clint Eastwood playing as the US Air Force military pilot who was POW in Viet Nam War recruiting by the high ranking US Air Force officers in the US Navy submarine for stealing the USSR advanced MIG military jet with assistance from the Russian Jewish couple who both were the military scientists to reach on the neutral airspace safe in the escape way at last. In Georgetown, DC in the area of Washington, DC, I saw “Firefox” as the summer blockbuster movie after my college graduation from Gallaudet University with my Class of 1981-( Monday May 18, 1981) with B.A, in double- majors of Biology and Chemistry as I remembered very well. “ Falcon Down” is the most outstanding but best movie!
"B.A, in double- majors of Biology and Chemistry " that kind of paper will get you a job at McDonald's, if you are lucky. Times have changed!

This movie stands on its own merits but it reminds me of a Clint Eastwood movie Foxfire with Clint Eastwood when a supersonic military jet was stolen from the Russians.
