Ok, so I’m in my mid 50s and wanted to speak up and say thank you so much for all your research and knowledge on products that benefit us older ladies, too. Thank you so much. Not sure if you get many older people subscribing but I’m a grateful fan.
I am 62 and just stumbled on Hyrum. I just watched 3 in a row including best of 2020. Not sure if I’m correct but it seems to me skin type may be more important than age when selecting a product. Hyram is saving us a lot of time researching the ingredients and knows which ones do what. If I learned anything from the ones I just watched- avoid fragrances and essential oils and where on the list the good stuff is. For my skin which is oily / combo / sensitive / redness prone - I’m going to stick with Cerav as my cleanser but try the one he mentioned. Before seeing these videos, I just bought the origins samples pack to try. I’d say - MEH. Eye cream seems nice but finding ginseng day moisturizer kinda crumbly. Night cream just okay. I’m going to try some of Hyrams recommendations for moisturizer, serums and sunscreen. I also just bought for 2nd time the Mario Badusco Aloe moisturizer with Spf15. I like that it doesn’t irritate my skin and is not greasy at all. I’m always looking to try something better though. Thank you Hyram for making the search for good product’s easier.
I love that he wasn’t scared to keep liking the same products. If he had scrapped all of his favorites from last year for new I would have been sad and scared.
Soap: Cerave SA renewal Serum: Retinol ink list Moisturizer: elf happy cream Sunscreen: cerave tinted 30 spf I will be buying these , I have acne prone skin and wrinkles on forehead They are affordable and good according to hyram. Hope it helps
how 2020 felt: january february march march march march march march march april may june july augustseptemberoctobernovember ahahahahahhhahaha LOVE YOU HYRAM!!!
I remember being young and having the worst cystic acne ever and beibg depressed and uncomfortable. I always wanted to buy what was new on the market like the black peel of mask that i so stripping to the skin... and always wanting the most expensive and thought drug store skincare wasn’t going ti work on my skin. So happy and relieved that i soon understood that less is better and aslo cheaper. Love you Hyram!
Yes ma'am , me too. my dermatologist said " stop using physical exfoliants, and stop over cleansing." Of course there were lots of changes and medications via trial and error. But a few years later skincare is now my maintenance since my cystic acne has finally cleared.
@@Spiorad I use it o e or twice a week maximum because it is an exfoliating serum and apply right after you’ve cleansed and then follow up with your routine and the next morning you have to use sunscreen !!❤️
Went to sephora to pick up some inkey list products and the cashier said "i trust like 5 skincare youtubers with my life" to which I said "oh Hyram right" and her eyes lit up. I told her I've been using the Krave matcha hemp cleanser and the Kale AHA toner which she's been wanting to try. Thank you for the recommendations; I know I'm not the only one who has some of the products mentioned in this video and my clear skin owes it to you!
@@swatig9441 nahh in one video he said it’s because of his skin....if he wears any other color it makes him look orange...or his skin color will be off with his camera...
I’ve been watching Hyram and a few other youtubers for product recommendations to for skincare, hair care, makeup, etc. I have to say, I really commend Hyram for recommending a variety of different brands and products instead of having his own skincare line and only recommending products from that. It definitely makes me (and I’m sure others) trust his recommendations a lot more because he seems to actually care about spreading information, rather than promoting a brand. Thank you, Hyram!
You talk very fast. You know what made me really happy today? I understand 99 percent what you said. I’m a international student in Canada and I was having problems ordering McDonald’s like a few years ago when I come here. But today, my English finally got better that I have no problem understanding your video🙌🏻 Thank you. I love to trying out products you introduced.
Ok, but can we just appreciate how often Hyram has been uploading lately? He has constantly been giving us quality content, and more shoulder shakes than ever! 😂
king u should make a website where like it generates people's custom skincare routine! like we insert our skin problems we want to focus on and the website makes an AM & PM routine with suggested products from different stores. i literally don't trust anybody but you. just an idea :)
I really appreciate that you recommend the same products year after year. It means you aren't promoting whatever is trendy or ~hot~ that year, and that the product itself is trustworthy and reliable. When creators recommend different "favorite" products every time they post a video, it makes me lose trust in their recommendations and feel overwhelmed to buy every NEW HOT product. Thank you so much for your reliability, honesty and transparency!!!
As someone with sensitive skin, the Inkey List’s PHA toner has been my savior! AHA and BHA are way too harsh for my skin type. I was so happy to find this PHA product. Also, I tried Great Barrier Relief but it really didn’t moisturize my skin well enough and I think it had too much niacinamide for my skin type - my face would get red and irritated after applying it. I absolutely fell in love with that weird smell of it, though, and started using pure tamanu nut oil (the oil that gives GBR its scent) from FaceTheory. It’s super hydrating and I find that not only does it not irritate my skin, but it actually soothes irritation! It’s definitely going to be a staple in my skin care cabinet for the year to come 🙂
@@b8665 When I purchased it, they marketed it as a product to “reset” your skin’s moisture barrier with the direction to not use any product other than GBR for two weeks. They’ve since re-branded it as a serum.
I really appreciate the fact that you don't switch all your recomendations just because you already gave them in other videos! With all of these new products on the market we tend to get a little lost and wondering if the "old" ones are still worth it, or if there are better ones. YOU GIVE EXACTLY THE INFORMATION WE WANT TO KNOW! Thank you, Hyram!
Hey, i know its a long shot for you to see this but you should definitely make a skin care quiz so we can all take it and see what skin care is necessary for our specific skin type
Please please please please PLEASE do a full review of ELF skincare. They've come out with SO much new stuff that I feel like you might like and it's one of the only clean, accessible, affordable and vegan brands! PLEEAASEEE
The only Gel type moisturizer the best & worked on me is “I’m from vitamin tree water gel” i tried many but this one is different and also you can see nice improvement of the skin overall..
Taurus king thank you for once again blessing us with recommendations. I too am a taurus so I'm really big on brand loyalty and being able to get as many products from the same brands as possible (also convenient 'cause I can shop at less places and save on shipping). I've been using products from YTTP, Krave Beauty, and Paula's Choice almost exclusively thanks to your recommendations and my skin has never been better ❤️

What are the best products for: Forehead- oily as an oil pit In between eyebrows- dry Sides of Nose - dry Chin - oily Jawline - dry Cheeks - fine please send help lol
To find products for those concerns look at a product that controls oil/sebum production, anything with niacinamide in it. I have been having a hard time really getting into my skincare routine because im trying to be more environmentally cautious and use less single-use plastic products (WHICH EVERYTHING IS MADE OF). Please make a video of the best products that are good for the environment based on ingredients and PACKAGING
I’m not even really into skincare but in every one of Hyram’s videos that I’ve seen, I gain even more respect for him. In this one, it was when he told his viewers to shop responsibly and not feel obligated to overspend on skincare. Honestly I love that so much. ❤️ I wish more influencers were more like him.
I always get a laugh when a commercial is from a product that the influencer would definitely not endorse. For example a highly scented deodorant advertised when the influencer is preaching no fragrance clean beauty. Money talks ha ha
I relate to not being able to find a concealer for my undereyes. They all make my undereye area look like its 100 years old. I'm 47 and not trying to look 97. My daughter recommended your channel to me and I've really enjoy it. Nice content!
I'm a new follower here (found the page on facebook, or actually facebook recommended your videos). I must say, you are so sweet and positive! 2020 has been the year of skincare for me (really been getting into active ingredients and what they do ect.). Love love love your videos!! This video has so many of my favorites. I totally agree on the PC BHA toner! It's the best!!! Bought one for mye sister for christmas! I personally LOVE the La Roche-posay cicaplast baume B5.
Im in my mid 30s and I find hyram the only reliable channel that provides genuinely honest suggestions for my age range 💖
Hyram's humility is out of this world.

I spent 5 hours watching hyram today and I'm still confused about what I should buy 💀
you’re not alone
Soap: Cerave SA renewal
Serum: Retinol ink list
Moisturizer: elf happy cream
Sunscreen: cerave tinted 30 spf
I will be buying these , I have acne prone skin and wrinkles on forehead
They are affordable and good according to hyram. Hope it helps

Yes! He asked us about our favorite products of 2020, and mine definitely is the lactic acid 5% serum. Superb product!

Thank you for the recommendations; I know I'm not the only one who has some of the products mentioned in this video and my clear skin owes it to you!
can we make a petition for hyram to release his own skincare brand PLEASE , it would be such a life saver
I didn’t realized how much he wore blue shirts until now😂
It's because blue makes his eye colour pop

But today, my English finally got better that I have no problem understanding your video🙌🏻
Thank you. I love to trying out products you introduced.

Ok, but can we just appreciate how often Hyram has been uploading lately? He has constantly been giving us quality content, and more shoulder shakes than ever! 😂
Hyram: "Do you notice that I'm a little bit consistent with my recommendations?"
Me: "Lol he's such a Taurus"
Hyram: "I'm a Taurus, what can I say"
xD
as a taurus i can relate
I'm a Taurus and I can also relate
Hyram is a taurus? Omg same woah I feel special
Another Taurus ♉️ here. I felt that in my soul lmao 😂
Fellow Taurus. I have products that I will probably use beyond the grave because I’m that consistent with things that just work. 😂
king u should make a website where like it generates people's custom skincare routine! like we insert our skin problems we want to focus on and the website makes an AM & PM routine with suggested products from different stores. i literally don't trust anybody but you. just an idea :)

Love how you’re breaking your “best of” into different categories 😍
It’s definitely going to be a staple in my skin care cabinet for the year to come 🙂
The great barrier relief is a serum!!! Not a moisturizer ! You wear it under moisturizer
@@b8665 When I purchased it, they marketed it as a product to “reset” your skin’s moisture barrier with the direction to not use any product other than GBR for two weeks. They’ve since re-branded it as a serum.
It did not work for my sensitive skin 😞 do sad!
hyram says that the years over:
the rest of the year: EVERYONE CHANGES FROM CHEMICAL EXFOLIANTS TO ST. IVES😫🌍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Knock on wood
Please noooooo
Lol
😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

I genuinely just said to myself “wow I can’t wait until hyram posts again” and here we are
The only Gel type moisturizer the best & worked on me is “I’m from vitamin tree water gel” i tried many but this one is different and also you can see nice improvement of the skin overall..
Taurus king thank you for once again blessing us with recommendations. I too am a taurus so I'm really big on brand loyalty and being able to get as many products from the same brands as possible (also convenient 'cause I can shop at less places and save on shipping). What are the best products for:
Forehead- oily as an oil pit
In between eyebrows- dry
Sides of Nose - dry
Chin - oily
Jawline - dry
Cheeks - fine
please send help lol
To find products for those concerns look at a product that controls oil/sebum production, anything with niacinamide in it. For all dry areas you might be experiencing oil/dry skin because your skin is dehydrated versus dry. Maybe try products with Hyaluronic Acid !! I heard the Inkey List Hyaluronic Serum is formulated well!!
Hope this helps
