I’m new to Gintama, on episode 266 after starting it a few weeks ago, and when I found out that SPYAIR made this ending and they also made the theme for the final movie, I am so hyped for the final movie

The 4 devas of Kabuki Disctrict arc is in my opinion peak Gintama. Season 2 in general is in my opinion where Gintama peaked and consider it a masterpiece.
Maybe about the comedy, but iirc it only has one serious arc which is this one. Unless you somehow include Enchousen into Season 2 in which case it makes a little more sense.
