Part 3: last one Francesca looking at her parent’s portrait really makes me think they are setting up her story. She is longing for a relationship like her parents and does not yet realize she will experience it twice. Hope we see Stirling in this season or next season. I do not want to like Lord Debljng unless they give him a fantastic love interest that deserved him. The Polin scenes are eating and making me flushed. Ahhh! I love the comments about Violet having her garden bloomed this season. You go girl! Hope Bendetict has his self-love and confidence arc this season so the fans can be happy and it will be a great set up for his season. And finally, happy Kathany. Then, we see Penelope, we see her full face and a candle burning, but she’s sad. Right? Then later the candle growing with Colin slightly out of focus to focused like things are getting clearer for him, + the candle is growing. Ugh so so good. I’m not perfect at this, but I feel like I see what they’re doing. Also with Penelope wearing Bridgerton colors between the yellow and green dress… (and after…) I feel like that’s very intentional- QQ- I’m thinking of reading the book, but I’ve only read the Duke & I, do you think it’s ok to skip 2 and 3 and also read it before it comes out? She must have known Cressida bullied Penelope. I don’t care how mad you are, you do not make friends with your friend’s bully. If Eloise made friends with someone else, fine. No problem. She is angry and has the right to be with Penelope and wants to find comfort with someone else. But why Cressida? You really want to hurt her back. In that case, are they even now? Second, “you’re not thinking about marrying her” or “since when are you worried about Penelope” The first time, I thought it was just hurtful and selfish. You know your brother is also friends with Penelope. Why say this? He has protected her and danced with her multiple tomes. Your family treats her as their own. Ahhh! Than I thought, maybe she did not see him go after her romantically and it is coming from that end. And of course, she now knows that Penelope is Lady Whistledown and wants to protect her brother. It makes sense that she is concerned after her best friend raked them through the mud in the gossip pamphlets. Rethinking the comments on the netflix page about the trailer. I got some pushback on things about what I said about Eloise. I get that Penelope is reserved and did not let Eloise in on times and that is on her. She also should not have outed Eloise and I feel she did it for 2 reasons: to get back at Eloise for a bad comment and b) to save her from the queen’s wrath. I still feel that their conversations are one sided. I hate that Penelope had to passive aggressively explain to Eloise that she did care about marriage. Again, if she did not tell Eloise at all, that is on Penelope for not doing so. While Penelope only brought up Lady Whistledown in season 2 to protect her identity, I also felt she felt she had to because that is all Eloise wanted to talk about. Not justifying Penelope’s actions here. I do feel both were bad friends. Looking back at the scene where Eloise finally put 2 and 2 together, is it because Penelope finally feels comfortable with her or was Eloise just observing this now.
I think that during the portion of the last episode, when Eloise connects the dots, she did mention that she finally fully listens to Penelope - this means that maybe before that Eloise didn't pay much attention to what Penelope was saying. Also, Penelope seems to gossip a bit with people she's comfortable with (like that comment about redhaired footman in season 1 with Colin), so she had to do that before the final ball of season 2. She did ignore Pen's warnings about pusruing Whistledown hunt and the issue with the Queen, she mostly talked about LW and how she wanted to do more and be someone more, but Penelope only talked about her issues when her father died (I think?) and when she discovered Marina's pregnancy. Eloise is a fun character, but I feel like, as a friend, she mostly cares about her own life and opinions - she often commented on how they both should prevent becoming pregnant to pursue grander things and how they should not care about romance and weddings. How could she not realise that romance and marriage is all Penelope dreams about? I guess maybe Penelope didn't feel fully comfortable with talking about these topics, knowing how Eloise felt about them (I also feel like Pen is a bit of a people pleaser and despperately wants to keep the only 2 friends she has, partially by keeping in stuff she herself wants to talk about).

Have been watching the trailer over and over already. I can't believe they're going to break this up into two parts. I agree, Colin is definitely dreaming about Pen in that scene. They're going to do that to us. We're going to think he and Pen are finally on the same page and nope! I can't wait to see how things go with Eloise as well. I can't see her being mean to Pen. Like sure she'll hang out with Cressida to spite Pen, but if it actually came to a situation where she actually insults Pen in front of other people I would like to think she wouldn't. Or that at least someone else, maybe Colin, would call her out on it. But I don't know. I can't wait for this season!

Rethinking the comments on the netflix page about the trailer.
I got some pushback on things about what I said about Eloise.
I get that Penelope is reserved and did not let Eloise in on times and that is on her. She also should not have outed Eloise and I feel she did it for 2 reasons: to get back at Eloise for a bad comment and b) to save her from the queen’s wrath.
I still feel that their conversations are one sided. I hate that Penelope had to passive aggressively explain to Eloise that she did care about marriage. Again, if she did not tell Eloise at all, that is on Penelope for not doing so.
While Penelope only brought up Lady Whistledown in season 2 to protect her identity, I also felt she felt she had to because that is all Eloise wanted to talk about.
Not justifying Penelope’s actions here. I do feel both were bad friends.
Looking back at the scene where Eloise finally put 2 and 2 together, is it because Penelope finally feels comfortable with her or was Eloise just observing this now.
People like pen cause we understand why she did a few things , we do not agree with her but she deserves a chance
I think that during the portion of the last episode, when Eloise connects the dots, she did mention that she finally fully listens to Penelope - this means that maybe before that Eloise didn't pay much attention to what Penelope was saying. Also, Penelope seems to gossip a bit with people she's comfortable with (like that comment about redhaired footman in season 1 with Colin), so she had to do that before the final ball of season 2.
She did ignore Pen's warnings about pusruing Whistledown hunt and the issue with the Queen, she mostly talked about LW and how she wanted to do more and be someone more, but Penelope only talked about her issues when her father died (I think?) and when she discovered Marina's pregnancy.
Eloise is a fun character, but I feel like, as a friend, she mostly cares about her own life and opinions - she often commented on how they both should prevent becoming pregnant to pursue grander things and how they should not care about romance and weddings. How could she not realise that romance and marriage is all Penelope dreams about? I guess maybe Penelope didn't feel fully comfortable with talking about these topics, knowing how Eloise felt about them (I also feel like Pen is a bit of a people pleaser and despperately wants to keep the only 2 friends she has, partially by keeping in stuff she herself wants to talk about).
Lol Penns brother in law is just law awe go pen 🤣 I think she's going to be trying to comfort Penn about being with the other guy not Colin. Like telling her that yes she might have feeling for Colin but this other man is a good man and still a good match.
