Try lease some quality ones somewhere at Markham or RIchmond Hill, tons of new condos on Midtown Markham, 1bed+1den, spacious and new, about $1700/month, all amenities are nearby, even cineplex by walking distance. Call your real estate agent to filter the good ones and share the details b4 you go for showing. Downtown is super expensive and not worth for new immigrants like your case.

@@brandychau 你們放在雪柜的pickle cucumber 應該是bread and butter pickle。很易做。你們留下玻璃瓶作pickle 用。新手可以去超市買1:現成的pickle 包，follow package instruction 加水加糖煮好，放涼。2：另買青瓜切薄片，加鹽出水，沖水，抹乾(pat dry，3放入已洗乾淨的玻璃瓶。4。fill up with pickle water. 5。放入雪柜24小時後即可吃。是商店的一半價錢即可。
Bread and butter pickle 的名字源自用pickle vegetable trade bread and butter 。
另因這方法沒有canning 高溫煑和seal，做好是要放雪柜的。另玻璃瓶如不是厚玻璃，不適宜高溫canning 或焗乾，會裂開的。

如果只租一間房的airbnb，不用這麼貴。其實酒店房間是可以月租的，租金就會比日租平宜，但不可煎炒。有微波爐，雪柜，自己再帶一個instant pot 就0k。
