Hi Frank, you can get a free ISBN from Amazon when you create your new book title on KDP. Just click the button saying you want a free ISBN, they'll display one, then you can add that to the interior of your book. I usually put it on the copyright page like this... ISBN: xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx or whatever the number is. If you're using another company, like lulu.com or ingramspark.com, they will also give you a free ISBN (unless something has changed) once you create your new title on their website
@@EricElder Ah, I did not know that about those other two companies, Eric. I guess I'm weighing all this against shelling out 125 bucks to Bowker, is it? Thank you!
@@EricElder Thanks, Eric. My best guess is that the world at large will not be clamoring for a Frank Feldman book, so I am quite likely to do that, lol. Thanks again.
Another crystal clear guide to publishing on Amazon. Much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful, Bill!
Hello, Eric. How can one get an ISBN for free? I thought there was one choice - Bowker, for $125.
