I bought this pack and I am very impressed for the high quality of the sound programming. I did not know that my Modx could sound so good! The youtube video is great in order to learn how to use the pack!
Superb as always. 👌 Maniac, Dua lipa, Yazoo and sledgehammer. Bravo!! 😶👏👏 Programmed and played perfectly. Give the Fantom set a nudge in this direction. 🙏🏼
Excellent. Which is your favorite keyboard out of the Montage, Kronos, Nautilus, Modx, Fa and Fantom? I know that is a broad renege but I also know you use all of theses.
@@narfsounds what about the Fantom? Also, why is the Kronos better for gigs over the Montage? Sorry for so many questions, but I want my next purchase to be the right one for me.
@@alancummings5651 Set List Mode is the best on the Kronos they've really thought that function through for the benefit of the performer. There's nothing that stands out on the Fantom that's better than the Kronos or Montage, it's still a distant 3rd for me.
Yes it works for all 3 sizes of MODX… it comes with a Performance Notes PDF document that explains how the sounds are setup and a loading instructions txt file. My demos are pretty easy to follow too since I started shooting top view from Set 9.
@@narfsounds the demos really help show what to do with the performance. I'm looking forward to getting the modx7+ and your bundle of packs. Relative to your performances, is there anything the Montage can do that the Modx doesn't do?
The MODX's smooth sound transition will not apply to Performances with more than 4 parts vs 8 on the Montage. The Montage can also process more effects. The MODX's velocity sensing on the 61 and 76 keybed cannot trigger sounds whose velocity has been set at 120 or above.
You mean note shift? Yes, transposing moves the key maps left and right. Not a problem with chromatic instruments but does become an issue with one shot samples and split points. I have a video addressing transposing the board when one shot samples are involved.
I play that song with my for years, now with Narfsounds Its sounds só much better - great job Francis

Brilliant Francis!

Whoa no wonder you’re such a great player, you have three hands… No fair!
😂
What user documentation comes with the packs? Love your stuff!
Truly amazing stuff!!!!!!
Good job ^_^
1:55 Wow. You have three hands... It's really helpfull in some cases :) Nice performances anyway :)
Maestro una pregunta, este horario de lluvia ya viene con montage7???
Si
Is every last detail presented here in the sound pack? As in, percussion rhythms, etc?
Maniac, Shout, Don't you Want Me, Bizzare love Triangle, Don't Go and Enola Gay have backing drums as arps. The rest do not have backing drums.

Kronos for gigs & Montage for creating sound libraries.

Btw im currently using a motif es6 and a mx49 as a top key board. TheModx will replace the motif. Modx seems much easier to work with than the motif

If I want to transpose and play....will it affect the note shit of the individual tones ???
